These simple words Jesus spoke to us.
Too often we can get caught up in pointing out all the wrongs , the deceptions, seeing the evil of the world.
Sometimes it is our own struggles, money, jobs, stresses, or sickness.
Sometimes one can simply become confused or overwhelmed by it all.
But in all of the world and evil, and flesh that will try to steal from us.
These simple words Jesus spoke, bring all His rest and Gods glory to every sercomstance.
Not because these things are always removed.
But because Jesus has overcome all these for us.
All we need to do is keep our eyes on Jesus, not looking to what the world or flesh brings,
but simply looking at Jesus.
Because when we look to Him, these things no longer matter, and in Jesus, we see not that which is flesh and world, but all that is His victory, grace, love and salvation.
Aother good scripture like this is: Be still and know that I am God!
Because, in the end, this is all that matters, Jesus, God Our Father, His Holy Spirit, and the grace, salvation that is His gift, His glory!
And our praise and thanksgiving!
