Mar 6:35 And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:
Mar 6:36 Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat.
Mar 6:37 He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat?
Mar 6:38 He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes.
Mar 6:39 And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.
Mar 6:40 And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.
Mar 6:41 And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.
Mar 6:42 And they did all eat, and were filled.
Mar 6:43 And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.
Mar 6:44 And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.

I see this very symbolic for "How we receive from The Lord", that includes eating, and how we hear.

The numbers to me is..

5=Grace, from His Hand
2=Witness, Spirit and Truth
__________
7=Spiritual Completeness

Let me explain, when we receive The Grace of God, and our spirit witnesses with His Spirit what He has given to us is Truth and Life, we are in Unity and agree, and we become One, with Truth.
We have ate from His hand, and become complete, and in turn are able to give to others, what He
has so Graciously given to us. Hence "As you have freely received, freely give"

12 spiritually speaks of Government, and those who have partaken of this kind of eating, I believe speaks of The Royal Priesthood, ........or a Picular people, .....He hath made us Kings and Priest unto our God.

In Mark 6:40, where he makes them sit down in Green Grass by ranks, this word "Ranks" means Garden Beds. This speaks of The Planting of The Lord. Isa.

This is The Work of The Lord, and It is Glorious.

Scriptural references

Isa 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Luk 8:18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

Mat 13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

Mat 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Then again I could be wrong.

And for those who have eyes to see, and ears to hear...........

The leading up to the feeding of the five thousand, there was...........

A birthday.....Born again
A beheading............Now having the mind of Christ
A silver charger..............Redemption

The Feeding and Eating

A wind that was contrary in the sea,..........Things within being turned upside down
A ship being tossed to and fro.............
Then a crying out to the Lord.............
A not considering the Feeding of the five thousand........
And a Receiving of The Lord into our Vessel................
Peace............

Made Whole

Do we see a Pattern?

Blessings

I thought it was interesting what you said about 5 & 2 & 7, another could be 5 x 2 =10.

Anyway the way I see the story is that Jesus sends His disciples to preach the gospel, Jesus shows how it is done, we are to receive from Jesus then give to the people. The disciples were not scholars most were fishermen , but in the hands of God they were able to do wondrous things.

Yes, could be, ......

Ten . Denotes Ordinal perfection . Another new first; after the ninth digit, when numeration commences anew.

Also 5 could represent teaching first, there are the five books of Moses. Second, Jesus taught about the five wise virgins and used five barley loaves used to feed the 5,000.

2 could represent the truth of God's word
for example, the law and prophets (John 1:45), two or three witnesses (2 Corinthians 13:1), and a sword with two edges (Hebrews 4:12). See Mark 6:7 and Revelation 11:3. It is also used 21 times in the books of Daniel and Revelation.

Five . Denotes Divine grace . It is 4+1. It is God adding His gifts and blessing to the works of His hands. The Heb. Ha'aretz (the earth), by "Gematria" (i.e. the addition of the numerical value of the letters together) is a multiple of four, while Hashamayim (the heavens) is a multiple of five. The Gematria of Caris ( charis ), the Greek for Grace , is also a multiple of five. It is the leading factor in the Tabernacle measurements.

Two . Denotes difference . If two different persons agree in testimony it is conclusive. Otherwise two implies opposition , enmity , and division , as was the work of the Second day. Compare the use of the word "double" applied to "heart", "tongue", "mind", &c.

This is good Lao, I'm glad your seeing other places, and adding to it.
Who knows what others will see.
