The last seven years.

Follow the bread crumbs.

Jesus said Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet.

Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation.

That leads to Daniel9:27

And HE shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

In the middle of the week the great tribulation will begin, According to Jesus’s own words.

Some say that this verse Daniel9:27 is fulfilled, and that “HE” that confirms the covenant in that verse is Jesus.

I have seen this doctrine thrashed and chopped to pieces on this website at least three times in the last 12 months.

There is not one bit of evidence that this verse is fulfilled and that “HE” that confirms the covenant in that verse is Jesus.

There is no evidence that Jesus made any agreement with anyone for seven years in the last days.

And if it’s not Jesus then who could it be? We must look to the verse before 9:27. And to the rest of Bible prophecy.

Daniel9: 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined

It’s the prince of this world that confirms the covenant for seven years not Jesus.

Daniel11;21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. 22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant. 23 And after the league [made] with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

Now I know there are some doubting Thomas’s saying there is no seven years, but they will have to see before they believe, but nevertheless doubting Thomas was one of the twelve, but they will have to see before they believe.

Daniel9: 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

27 And HE (the prince) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
