My fellow brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ, turn from the things of this world, turn to your Lord, your true Father. Turn to your bible and from every worldly thing. Do not be conformed to this place be transformed into the new creation. I beg you seek your God before your time runs out. I gladly accept being mocked if only one could see the truth.
Ephesians 5:8-118 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.
(We as true believers were all once in darkness, now that you are in the light find out what is acceptable to the Lord, do not have any part of the works of darkness, expose them as I have been trying to. My brothers and sisters, those who claim to follow and still walk in darkness lie 1 John 1:6-7…. flee from the works of darkness you who walk in them while you still can)
Galatians 5:22-23 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
1 Peter 2:1111 Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,
1 John 3:10 10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.
(Flee from what offends our Father don’t let people deceive you into living with it, abstain from what offends our Lord, practice what is good)
Galatians 5:19-2119 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
(They will claim to follow our Lord but those who practice such things will have no place with Him, they want you to continue in the it with them)
Galatians 5:24-25 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
(we are to walk in the spirit, walk in light, if we are true followers we put off the old man, we don’t live with it)
1 Peter 4:1-4 1Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, 2 that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. 3 For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. 4 In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you.
(We have all wasted enough time, following the ways of this world, doing what our mind wills us to, fulfilling our own desires as we leave our Father behind us)
Colossians 3:1-2 1If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
(If you are a true follower of our Lord what you do shows it, seek what is good and pleasing to Him, don’t allow people to tell you what you seek does not have to change or does not have an impact on you)
Turn from the TV, movies, parties, sex, porn, games, buying useless things, foul humor, concerts, wrath, news, sports, theme parks, everything this world chases after have no part of it!! Fill your time with your Lord, His word, praising Him, seeking His will while denying yourself!
