All of you miss the bigger picture not realizing that the 'houes of Israel' and the 'house of Judah' (from whence the Jews come from) are two distinct houses, so the Jews are only 1/12 of Israel. Jesus was a Jew (which means from the house of Judah), and it was they (the Jews) who rejected Him, as was prophesied; however, since the House of Israe (the Northern Kingdom)l was scattered upon the face of the earth several hundred years before Jesus was born, they were not around to reject Him. Instead, it is written that it is they (the House of Israel) who would accept HIM, but the Jew would not, until Christ returns. If you read Acts you will find that Jesus came only to redeem the 'lost sheep of the house of Israel' (Jer 3::cool:, and by them would the Gentiles be grafted into the Family. He well knew that the Jews woould reject and kill HIM.

For those with a concordance, follow 'house of israel' and 'house of Judah' throughout the Bible, and you will see that what i say is the TRUTH, that the two houses are seperate and distinct, even though together they comprise the Nation Israel (not the country it is today). Furthermore, Ez 37 is the prophesy whereby GOD will reunite these two 'houses' sometime in the future, and they will be ONE in HIS Hand forever.
Excellent post. I will only add, that the house of Judah consisted of the lower kingdom, which consisted of Judah, Benjamin and the levites who were assigned to them as priests. And not just the children of Judah.

Where-as the northern kingdom consisted of the other 9 tribes of Isreal, and the levites assigned to them.

EG you're right on time, but if I may make a small correction. The Northern Tribes were ten, the southern 2, the Levites never had land possesion because they were the priests for all the tribes and therefore were taken care of by the rest of them. But there were still some of the Levites there after YHVH kicked the northern 10 tribes out. Shalom

the Jewish people didn't crucify Christ Jesus, a corrupt sanhedren (excuse the spelling) They didn't like what Jesus was saying. that He was God. They wanted to kill Him.

Very well done my friend. Scripture makes it so easy to see and understand. Why some make it complicated is beyond me. Shalom chever[/quote]

Yes, very well stated. As to why some make it complicated? Speaking from my own experience, raised in a Christian church that taught (wrongly I know now) that the church replaced Israel and the Jews. I thank God for having all those years of Bible study because when the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to see and ears to hear that I am Israel, it was not of my own doing to get here. I believe what seems to be a major Hebrew movement is a major sign that we are in the last days friends. I anxiously watch postings here to see when other christians cross over to understanding that they are of the house of Israel and praise Yah. For some who are still having an identy crisis, Jim Staley of Passion for Truth Fellowship hits the message right on with power.
