I don't know how many believe that the church has replaced Israel, but according to the bible they are and will always be God's chosen people.

Deuteronomy 7:6 “For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.

Gen. 12:3 "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee."

Psalm 122:6 "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee"

What are you thoughts?

Not to mention the new Jerusalem, has 12 gates, and on those gates the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. Not baptist, methodist, catholic, lutheran, etc. And for us to enter into the New Jerusalem, we must enter through one of those gates.

Romans 11: 28 From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers;

When it comes to salvation. I treat them no different than anyone else. I wish they all would come to grace and truth. But I also acknowledge that as a nation, they have denied the gospel. So their message is my enemy.

As for Gods promises? His covenant with Abraham Issac and Jacob still stand. Thus I love them as Gods chosen, and can't wait till the repent and are returned to where they should be in the first place (yes I love seeing prophesy fulfilled. What a joy!!)

I don't know I'm rethinking this.
1. seems to me that I'm part of the new Jerusalem and mount zion what does this have to do with what has past away?
2. Is Israel a land or a people?
3. were the jews choosen by god because they would love him or because they would love themselfs and hang him on the cross?

Yes, if you are a child of God, you will be, after this heaven and earth are destroyed. But that has nothing to do with physical canaan and Gods promises to the physical children of abraham issac and jacob

2. Is Israel a land or a people?

A people, physical descendents of Abraham, Children of Issac and Jacob, (whose name was changed to isreal, thus the name given to his offspring)
3. were the jews choosen by god because they would love him or because they would love themselfs and hang him on the cross?
Niether. Gods promise to abraham was an unconditional covenant. It can be found in genesis.

7 And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. 8 Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”

What was the promise?

I will establish my covenant

I will be your god

I will give you this land.

Nothing said about what abraham must do, It was Gods covenant, unconditional.

God is still the God if Isreal, and the land still belongs to them, they are not there because of sin, but that is a different subject.

I believe God will be with Israel because the temple must be rebuilt for prophecy to be fulfilled.

The Israel who is God's chosen people today is spiritual Israel not literal Israel.
Matthew 21:43-45
(43) Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
(44) And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
(45) And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
Matthew 23:38
(38) Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
Romans 2:28-29
(28) For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
(29) But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Romans 9:6
(6) Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

Amen, when it comes to eternal life, and entrance to the new jerusalem, you are 100 % right. for as Christ promised Abraham, In you shall all the nations of the world (Jew and Gentile) be blessed (have the opportunity to be saved.

But when it comes to the eternal covenant between God and Abrahams physical descendants. There is Jew and Gentile. And Gods promise here was not to the gentile.

I do stand with Israel, but I stand with the true Israel... I stand with the Israel of God, as described in Galatians 6:15-16

the true Israel of God are those who are a new creation in Jesus Christ

You do understand there are two promises do you not?

One is salvic

One is not

The jews owning their land given them did not have anything to do with their salvation.

Why can't you separate the two?

We all stand for that Isreal..

But there is another Isreal. Paul tells us of this Isreal in romans 11, Today natural isreal is our enemy, because they reject the gospel. But they are still beloved by God because the promise still stands

I am amazed you all totally ignore this passage

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Were the Old Testament saints (like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Moses) born again, if not how were they saved?

Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

How are the enemies of the gospel that are still elect saved?

Romans 4 : 1 - 8 What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works:
"Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered;
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.”

He was saved the same way we are, By faith

Rom 11:28
As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

How are the enemies of the gospel that are still elect saved?

They are not saved, that is why they are our enemy concerning the gospel.

they are still elect because the physical promises made to their fathers still stand.
Pauls point was we gentiles should not be so proud we did what Gods chosen people did not do. For we too will fall, and they will be restored.
