I thought it would be nice if all of you would share a scripture that was given to you or studied. That came from the Lord just as you needed it the most or expressed the joy or heart in Jesus for you at that time. Then share what it meant or you believe Jesus was telling you so that it may glorify God and encourage others. God bless, pickles

For me it is revalations, 7;17 and he shall wipe every tear from your eyes. This scripture came at a time for me when I was so overwhelmed by the world. I was having trouble putting it all behind me . As I was talking to God he showed me this. It was so powerful at that moment. I knew then that all the sadness and sorrow not only would be taken from me but that God our father cared so much that he would remove them himself. I felt so cared for and comforted by this , it also reminded me how great his love is. The burden I carried is gone now, and my tears now are tears of praise. God bless, pickles

Mine was about a situation a Church came up, and I took a stand against most the Church, and the kids from church took the situation blowed it out of portion and spread some rumors at our public school about what I had said(Which of course I never said what they said I said. but it really effected two of my kids who where at this school, when My kids told me what people were saying, I was more worried about the effect it would have on them at school than me. So I just opened the Bible and read a few verses then I read :Mt 5:10Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. it was like a touch right from Heaven

philippians 1:21 (NLT) for to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is ever better.

i really like this verse but its important to remember that its easier to die for christ that it is to live for him. What this verse says to me is that it does not matter if we are persecuted or not because if they try to kill me then they are only sending me to jesus but if they let me live then im gonna do evangelism for the lord. another thing i would like to leave is love draws people, truth sets them free. therefore speak truth in love
