The 'master race' example, Hitler thinking Germans were select breed of mankind, with all other races inferior and DESERVING of DEATH, is exampled to simply show selectivity, which is completely opposite of God who is Love, who selects no one selectively for salvation. All hear the gospel from Him, or, according to scripture, will hear it before the end times come.
There should be no contradiction who the elect are and 'the world' and 'all the nations.'
Who are the elect? Everyone, all the nations, the world. I mean, how many ways can one term be,said. Christ is clear, my Christ peeps, God is NOT the author of confusion, scripture states clearly.
”And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as witness to all the nations and then the end will com.” Matthew 24:14
Beware of false prophets thar teach you YOU ARE NOT INCLUDED in Heaven, for you ARE if you.....

God, like president Obama and other political candidates, makes His case for the unbeliever to choose Him, remember! Christ CONVICTS the the world, with His Holy Spirit upon them!
Then unbeliever votes , or, elects Christ as their Saviour..
Now, jimdig, you might think 'elects' is a poor choice of word because in order to elect someone you need a majority vote......
Ahhh, yes, that makes sense for an election of one voted to power by MANY. BUT, how many votes does it take for you to elect Jesus your Lord, jimdig??

Why can't you see the simplicity of truly WHO can be God's elect IF they choose Him based on God FIRST having showed up in Truth (The Word) to them ????
It is so simple for any ONE to elect Christ their Saviour forevermore. Just repent (turn away from, ascribe to not doing anymore), and, believe (John 3:16), and, diligently take further steps, worship Him completely, get plugged into a church, get plugged into a Christian website, grow. You will want to grow your relationship with Him once His, through sooo many ways, including steps of faith and proclamation to peers in your church via baptisms of water and Spirit, in His timing. He leads, and, Rome wasn't built in a day. God WILL lead you, He Loves you, HE really, really, really wants you to make it into Heaven.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward not willing that any should perish but that's all should come to repentance. II Peter 3:9 .
