My Brother,

The Bible used by Christians comes from 66 ancient manuscripts which are divided into two sections called the Old and New Testaments. Over a period of 1,500 years, 40 different authors wrote down messages from God. These combined messages contain important information on history, science, health, psychology and a number of other topics.
However, the central theme of the Bible is this: the all powerful, ever-existent God created mankind for His glory and for His pleasure. This God, in his divine foreknowledge, knew that the people He created would use their gift of free will to rebel against Him and His leadership. This rebellion, called sin, would separate people from their relationship with God.

But God, in his great love for the people, had already devised a solution. He planned to come to the world, and to reveal Himself in the form of a human, as a Savior, so that He could provide a way to reunite the fallen, separated people back to Himself.

The Bible, God's Story: From Creation To Eternity, presents an overview of His leter to you, highlighting God's promised plan. The promised Savior, Jesus, came. While on earth, He stated and showed that everything recorded about Himself in the Old Testament writings, including even the smallest of details, would all be fulfilled, 100 percent, and it was.

One significant proof of the Bible's divine authorship comes from its being the only book in the world ever written that contains predictions (prophecies) which have proven to be 100 percent accurate.

As an encouragement to those not too familiar with the Bible, "God's letter to us" presents many of the Old Testament prophecies which point to Jesus as that Savior promised from God.

Although most of the Bible was written through people who descend from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (known as the Children of Israel or Jews), a clear reading of the Bible reveals that God is no respecter of persons. No matter the age or gender, the race or ethnic background, or the educational, social or economic status, God reaches out with His offer of love to all people.

The Bible states that God's requirement for all mankind is the same. It says people must depend on Jesus as their only way of access back to God. God's message teaches that no human deeds however noble, no religion however moral, can span the gap between fallen mankind and God.

God shows that everything we design or do is still imperfect and brings glory to us and not to Him. He asks us to place all of our faith in the perfect God-Man, Jesus, as our Savior. Jesus, who on the cross paid the penalty for our sin and rebellion against God, offers us the only way to receive forgiveness and be reunited with God.

As shown in God's letter to you, Jesus Himself declared in the Bible, "I am the Way the Truth and the Life; no man comes to the Father but by me." John 14:6

Hope this helps!

The holy God head is God in three persons, the father, son and holy ghost, we can get all confused at times as we search the scriptures, and the holy God head, or trinity is this.

The Holy Trinity:

First some background information. Tetullian a Latin theologian who wrote in the early 3rd century, is credited with using the words "Trinity", "person" and "substance" to explain that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are "one in essence—not one in Person"
About a century later, in 325, the First Council of Nicaea established the doctrine of the Trinity as orthodoxy and adopted the Nicene Creed, which described Christ as "God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance (homoousios) with the Father".

The Word Trinity is derived from a Latin phrase meaning the number of three a triad. The corresponding Greek noun means a set of three. Basically the early Saints understood God as a triune Being, existing as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Each as co-equal co-eternal yet distinctly God. The Trinity was never three separate beings that would make God subservient to Himself. In Creation each aspect of this Divine Mystery was at work framing the heavens.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Gen1:26
As any Rabbi will tell you the ‘Hebrew’ US is a Plural expression. So under the Divine influence of the Spirit Moses also understood the Nature of this Mystery. (at least to the extent we are able to grasp it)
In the New Testament we see this concept spoken of, not merely as a Doctrine we are to embrace, but as the working dynamic of Creation, Salvation and full Redemption from sin. God calls all men to Repentance, the Spirit convicts and the Son Delivers. Each part of the Godhead has its function in the reconciliation process. There is no limit to His Power and no bounds of His authority over Creation.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. Col:15-18
In Baptism by water it’s customary to announce ‘Father, Son and Holy Spirit’ as present in the process. But it isn’t going to condemn anyone if you don’t. Remember: Baptism is a Symbol or type of deliverance from sin. It’s not the actual regeneration of the Spirit. As with making the Doctrine of the Trinity some kind of dogmatic code everyone has to agree with, don’t make something as simple as Baptism a rigid ritual without meaning. Baptism is important in real Christianity and should be observed with deep reverence and respect. www.standingthegap.org

Hope this helps, and most important, have you repented of your sins, 2 Cor 7-10-11, and crucified your flesh wih Christ? Gal 2-20.

Almo- I am so happy you're reading a Bible and found this site! For that I praise Jesus, who IS GOD!! :)

Simplistically put, Jesus was fully man and fully God while on earth. God made a plan before He ever created everything to make atonement for our sin, which we never, ever could. Philippians chapter 2 puts it like this, speaking of Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death —
even death on a cross!

While on earth, Jesus never emptied Himself of deity. (note: "He made Himself nothing". As God it was His choice, and His own doing.) He emptied Himself of glory, of independent authority, eternal riches, and the voluntary exercise of His divine attributes. He chose to do that as GOD and gave us His example of how to live as humans in relation to God.
That was part of the point of Jesus coming to the earth as a man. To teach us how to live as men--to give us His example to follow--to live in obedience and fellowship with God Himself! :)

Scripture teaches us that the penalty for sin is death (Romans 6:23). Death of body, yes, but also death of the spirit. Through Adam all men were made sinners and died (spiritually), and through Jesus all men may be made righteous and LIVE! ♥

I hope I haven't just gone on and on...this subject is sooo rich, and there's so much to say about the Lord Jesus. I just love talking about Him, and what He did for us our of His great love for us!
I pray your study of the Bible will reap rich rewards for you, chief among them being the salvation of your soul and the free gift of eternal life.
Bless you ~ellie

JESUS already died on cross right? SO your God died . And when he died who was leading and
Guiding? And is the Bible the talk of God? I found that four guys
Wrote the Bible who are Peter,Mathew,Pole and fourth guy I doent remember
. Christian said those four were Jesus friends or whatever and they
Conveyed the talk of God, unfourtunately ,I found they lived hundred of years
After the death of Jesus,,Wow,,

I read the Bible several times I need answers for my points ,specific answers not copied and pasted text..

THANKS AGAIN

Almo, if we are honest, we must all admit that we are all confused. Who can know the mind of God or the ways of God? We're all infants holding on to some type of evolved faith. As believers and followers of Jesus, all we have is His faith. It is His faith in the God of the Jews. It is only through Him that all have access to the God of the Jews.

I think you should read John 4. Place yourself in the shoes of the woman of Samaria (it sounds like you share the same stance).

Verse 10: Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

With authority and power Jesus asserts His ability to provide eternal life to man, while simultaneously painting God's image in Spirit and truth. V21-24.

The trinity of God in three unique persons: Father Yahweh, Son Jesus, and helper Holy Spirit must be accepted in faith. V 10 illustrates Jesus' profession that He is God's son given as God's gift to mankind. A thorough reading of the bible will yield a comprehensive view of oneness between Father and Son.

With God's gift of Himself through Jesus Christ, our confusion should be trumped by humble amazement. Choose to be "amazed" over "confused"; one glorifies God and the other questions Him.

It is one omnipotent God manifested in three different ways. Christ is / was God's physical hands, feet & voice. Holy Spirit is God's spiritual hands feet & voice. Because God is omnipresent He can appear in more than one place at one time. He can also appear to / work in more than one person at a time. He can also manifest his presence strongly wherever, whenever and through whomever He chooses. He is the creator of the universe, all of that which is seen and unseen thus the physical laws of this universe can not dictate to Him unless He himself chooses to abide by those laws. :)

Jesus was not killed on the cross He gave His life. The wages of sio is death and because we have all sinned we should all die. Jesus died in our place so that we do not have to die if we accept the gift of God.

Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. ( John 10:17-18 )

First of all,, I want to thank all of you for your politeness for this discussion evem I am from different
Relegion..
But I found different copies of Holy Bible and found many authors of Bible
I found It has been written after Jesus passed away, so it cant be the speech or talk of God with
These different copies , I have KJV bible , I read it and found things look like texts in our Holy Quran
.. But I found Quran is only one book and one copy with one author who is God, and has been written
During the life of our prophet , not after his death and you cant find any two different copies of this book..
.. The contradiction that I have is I knew many christians during my trips to Europe and USA and find they are honest, sincere, very polite ,Generus, dont lie,
Dont steal, and many many good morals and habits that is written in Quran for Muslims but they are christians.
So I insisted to read Your holy book but I found many diffrences and conflicts between different copies and written by humans not by the God like Quran
. As I read your book I wish you to read my holy book Quran not to convert your religion just to find out the cohesion in the text and the politeness in guidence.. You will finde a translated copy of Quran found in apple store, and android store..

Someone may question this or cite it as too far out there, but I believe we need to see this to fully recognize the breadth and width of God's love for us.

Jesus "gave" his life for us. His faith was fully with the Father, and that He was executing God's sovereign will by dying on the cross for all of mankind. Could Jesus have stepped down? Surely. Saving Himself was never needed, but losing Himself to save us was. And...why? If we're really thoughtful about human understanding, certainly as majestic as the universal spectrum, mountains, seas, the physiology of living organisms, etc., are, it is Jesus' grasp and mastery over the human condition that truly establishes his Godship to "us".

A young man in youth group once asked me, "What do you think happens to my brother?" The boy's brother was 19 and committed suicide. The boy himself was 17 and grew up hearing that suicide was damned and outside of God's grace, etc. And I asked the kid, "Did Jesus give up his life on that cross? When it all came down to it, did He make a decision to allow himself to be killed?" And after thinking, the boy nodded, "I guess, yeah." Obviously, suicide is a condition of utter aloneness and hopelessness beyond saving...and in that moment where Jesus pleads with God, "forgive them, for they know not what they do..." certainly taking one's own life is fully felt within the frame and scope of such a sin.

I don't mean to ramble, but in every given situation Jesus trumps all things.

The Bible was written after "" JESUS WAS RISEN FROM THE DEAD, HE LIVES"" what prophet you know was able to come back to life?? literally in the living flesh..... Jesus Christ, God... was raised on the third day,,,,, after he went into hell to free the saints of old. The Word of God, who is Jesus Christ, Son of the living God.... The bible say, that by him was all things created, and withOUT Jesus was nothing made. He is the Word of God in the flesh of His Holy Son...... Jesus is everthing God is, every thought, every Word, every act........ ALL God's........ He did nothing and will do nothing that God would not do, he think as God, He do as God, He is all God........ he and God are one........... one mind, one Word, one power, one dominion, one glory, one in every way......... you would say like the world might put it..... they are enjoined together, like one seed, separating into three people, yet are 100% the same on the inside, but have different appearances on the outside............ not one moving, speaking, or thinking without the other....... you have to understand...... God is nothing like man....... he is nor ever was limited in what he can do......... He is infinite in All His ways........ where man has limitations........ GOD HAS NONE!! He Is a real God, He was not made by man.......... He made man....... your questions are for a made up by man god,.... which is no true God...... but a false god with no power at all......... you ask questions as if God was like unto man, think about it, How can he make the heavens and earth, all the living things,,,,All........... keep the sun and moon in place....... the stars never falling to earth and destroy everything............. He keep the waters in their place.......... look at all the species of animals, birds, fishes, and insects He created................ now after you thought about that.............. now, answer this............... how is it impossible for him send His Word...which created all that... ( which has more life in it than 10 mil. people) to the earth in the form of man, which he chose to be His only Son..... every fiber of Jesus' being is the Word of God......... that is why he is God......... How can Jesus be everything God is, and everything God is made of he made in the image of His Child.......... though he be the Son of God...according to man..... He is God, according to God and man. ok, let me ask you one more thing........if you take a big lump of clay and you take 1/3 of it and make it round, and you tske another 1/3 of it and make it square and the rest of it you make it flat... my question is....... is this still all clay??? even though you took it apart made it look different.... does it make it any less the clay it was when you first started out?? does it chang colors, or do the material change? does it smell different? does it feel different?...... does it make it less usable, can it still do the things it was made to do now that it has taken different forms? That is how God tha Father is, no matter what form he take, or how he chose to go or come, HE IS ALWAYS GOING TO BE GOD, He did not stop being GOD, when He was with His Holy Son, He Is God, take your eyes of of man for a moment....... and put your heart and kind (soul) on the true and living God....... Do not see man.......... see the one who made man...... if you have to ask a question about God, that you would not believe a man can do........... then you are asking about the wrong God....... no man can be measured to or with God almighty........ there is NOTHING HE CANNOT DO, OUTSIDE OF ONE THING........ BUT SIN!!!

Jesus did not die so that God will ignore our sins. The reason Jesus gave His life is two fold: 1. For the forgiveness of sins, and 2. to restore right fellowship with God through the Holy Spirit which, according to the Apostle Paul, those who fellowship with God (abide in the Spirit) daily need not fulfill the lusts of the flesh (sin) [Romans 8, Galatians 5]. Thus Jesus gave His life that those who believe in may have victory over sin past, present & future.

Hi buddy, great to have you on cc and good that you are asking questions :) First off can I ask you something. If you had a child that was facing the death penalty, would you die for them? Any good parent would. Christians are sons and daughters of God, we are made in His image. Jesus died on the cross so we could be in eternity with Him. But He rose again so we can rise with Him.

So who is Jesus? Here is a link for you that I hope will make you understand. Christian brothers and sisters, also watch as it is so powerful and will bless you. God bless :)

Jesus is the Son of the Most High God Jn 6:69 sent from Heaven to spread Gods message, He is Gods first born Col 1:15......... God is a title not a name for even Satan is called a God in 2Cor 4:4 many gods mentioned in 1 Cor 8:5,6. Not a single place in the bible is Jesus called the Most High God Or his own Father. Jesus never taught a trinity or did the deciples ever teach such a idea. Jesus always told of His Father and God. Jesus had to receive his authority from God Matt 9:6, He worshiped His Father and God. Jehovah the God of Isreal Psalms 83:18 is who Jesus prayed to.
To think God was His own sacrifice or needed to pray to himself for guidence is silly. It leads people away from God.
Jesus had to be raised by God from His grave 2Cor 4:14 and was annointed for His service to God. Jesus was then seated next to God as the Lamb of God, not as God and you will notice no Holy Spirit is seen on the Throne in any vision given John

NOW to answer your question simply: Jesus is NOT God but will fulfill all of gods works.....In the End Christ will return the Kingdom for which was created fro Him to rule will be returned to whom it truely Belongs Jehovah God 1Cor 15:24

Jesus is the Mighty God -
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.(Isaiah 9:6)

Jesus is the Power of God -
But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.(1 Corinthians 1:24)

Jesus is the Image of God -
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.(2 Corinthians 4:4)

Jesus is God in Flesh -
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (1 Timothy 3:16)

Scriptures -

Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him.(Deuteronomy 4:35)

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?(10)Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.(John 14:9-10)

I and my Father are one.(John 10:30)

I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (John 8:24)

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our
lives for the brethren.(1 John 3:16)

Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. (Isaiah 43:10-11)

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.(Exodus 3:14)
