Is masturbation and pornography a sin?

Regarding pornography, it is clearly and Biblically sin (lust). Lust is not just an adulterous desire, it can be for anything. Lust is anything that you set your heart on inappropriately. You can lust for sex, money, power. When you look at porn, you are desiring something inappropriately.

Yes, they are both sins, but all completely forgiven when you believe in Jesus alone for salvation. =)

Its not an adultrey. Adultrey=sexual unfaithfulness of a husband or wife, Latin adulterium carnal,Worshipping any other God but I am,spiritual

As I read some of the threads and seen that quite of few people do not think porn is sin I have an honest questions for you. What about the people in the porn? The naked women, man or the women with women, men with men, a bunch of them together...what ever your ting is are they in sin? Does your heart break for them and pray that they will be set free from this bondage and accept Yeshua as their Savior? Do you really think your not sinning to take part in that.... supporting the industry, do you really think G-d is saying oh no your not sinning against Me? Do you think He says this is what I created those people for so you can get sexual pleasure in an extremely perverse way? I really don't get it the reasoning of it's not sin.

There is no doubt Jesus also taught that exclusive pleasure or masturbation is a sin:

Matthew 5
27"You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.'[e] 28But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully (pornography) has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30And if your right hand causes you to sin (masturbation), cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

but
Let's say a person is widowed.
NOW
is masturbation to your dead spouse still a sin
SINCE
if that person was still alive you would be consumating in person?


After reading your answers I thought I would throw the perverbial monkey wrench in to see how imaginative all you clearly seem to be.......could or would respond.

I ONLY ASKED BECAUSE WELL KNOWN PREACHERS ON T.V. LOL OF ALL THINGS HAVE PREACHED IT TO BE ACCEPTABLE AND THIS IS NOT WHAT I THINK THIS IS WHAT IM HOPING TO HEAR WHAT YOU THINK AND TY FOR THE 2 RESPONSES ALREADY.
