Don't get me wrong. I am not defending the muslim faith. I totally agree that they are misguided. But what you say is just intollerant and narrow minded. God would not allow a religion "worshipping satan" to become so powerful. They believe in the same one God. Just their teachings are wrong.

And Arianna, I totally agree what you said. I did not mean to say that Christianity and the Islam are identical. But both faiths are based on the same God (and there is only one).

Edit: Thank you Densetzu, couldn't have said it better.

Whom ever they are worshiping, it is my firm belief that putting someone down because of their beliefs only pushes them away. In my opinion, we shouldn't be so concerned as to whom they are worshipping, but rather proclaiming the truth of who we worship. Remember St Paul, how he went into Greece and saw a statue of an unknown God and used it as a jumping point for a positive message, relating the statue to our God in a way that was familiar to the Athenians. So to the Muslim, we can reveal the true identity of the God of Abraham that they say they worship. But ALWAYS in humility and respect.

Um yes he would. He has allowed religions that use Christian words to sweep across the world. God could allow and has allowed false religions to become powerful. The God Allah and the God of the Bible are not the same. The God Allah has no son. The God of the Bible gave His son to die on the cross. The God of Allah is one, the God if the Bible is 3 in 1.Islam calls belief in the Trinty blasohemy and ****able. There are huge differences. If you wanted to do research instead of believing propaganda, I could recommend some good books. They are not the same God. Most definitely not.

The nature of a Jihad isn't necessarily violent, and when it is there are prohibitions in the Quran against killing women and children and civilians during a Jihad. The type of 'jihad' that Islamic terrorists use is no more in line with their religion than the Crusades were in line with Jesus' teachings.

Not that Mohamed himself obeyed his own rules, of course.
Show me from the Koran those verses. And violent Jihad goes in line perfectly with the teachings of the Koran.

YES Allah is Satan.
*facepalm* No. Just no.

Yes, but jihad is not necessarily violent. A Muslim can perform a jihad without causing pain and death--for example peaceful resistance against oppression a la Martin Luther King or Gandhi. Violent Jihads were proscribed sometimes, usually as a matter of defense against outside attack or oppression.

Yes, there are occasional verses in which violence against unbelievers is proscribed, but the same can be said about the Old Testament. Jesus taught us better, just as wiser Muslims thought better of Mohamed's violent ways.

Life must be so easy when everything is just black and white, isn't it? You are either very young or very narrow minded. If you had been born in Mumbai you would say the same thing. But instead of "God" you would bash other people for not believing in "Shiva". You only believe in Christ because of chance. As a christian by choice I'm ashamed of you and I earnestly hope that you will open your focus.

Jesus is love, not ignorance.

Furthermore, if you feel offended in any way (and I guess you do) I would love to discuss the matter in deeper detail. But not in this thread please. Contact me via message so that the board doesn't have to witness.

Open my focus to what? You're propaganda and error? this issue is black and white. If Allah is the God of the Bible, how can you explain the fact Allah has no son? Sura 23:29. Good luck. You're wrong. Simply put. from your words, Jesus is love, not ignorance. Just because 2 religions are monotheistic doesn't mean they worship the same God. It is ignorant to assume so. I'm guessing you believe Jehovah's Witnesses, and Mormons, and Catholics are all Christians as well?

The fact that you don't speaks volumes about your own intolerance and bigotry.

Seriously--and I'm saying this to everyone:

Just because someone believes differently than you, even if their beliefs are in error does not make them any less eligible for the love of God. Being wrong does not make you evil. When we meet Christ face to face he's not going to ask us if we were a Mormon or a Catholic or whatever. He's going to ask us if we lived our lives with faith and compassion.

Firstly, I never said that muslims are Christians. Also, no I don't think that Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons are Christians. They just happen to share the same God.
Secondly, YES I BELIEVE THAT CATHOLICS ARE CHRISTIANS. How could anyone say that Catholics are no Christians? Did you really write that? You really believe that Catholics are no Christians? The Catholic Church was directly installed by Jesus, son of the Lord himself. I don't know what denomination you adhere (probably Protestant) but it is YOU who is painfully wrong. This discussion is over. You Sir, are not a believer but a blind follower. Congratulations.

You are right, I am intolerant of error, and a bigot because I want people to see truth. There is one way to salvation, through faith in Christ, not by keeping mans rules or doing good works to earn it (the 3 above mentioned groups all have a works gospel which denies Christ alone). You have a mistaken view of God. God is love, but God is also righteous and holy. Show me the scripture reference that God will ask us that before the Judgment seat :). Good luck.

Haha more propaganda! 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Eph 2:8-9 (KJV)

I believe in Christ alone for salvation, not taking the mass or confession of sins or baptism.

See the previous threads on Catholicism in the Bible forum for more on Catholicism and the refutation of your arguments.

I don't even know what to say to that. The last people I met who were talking like this were members of Scientology. I don't know who taught you that stuff or if you just made it up yourself. But whoever it was: don't listen to him anymore.

Um the Bible friend. I will listen to God forever. :)... But back so Islam, Muslims are lost souls who need the gospel... this is a good resource to give a Muslim friend who may be seeking God.. http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0042/0042_01.asp

Are you serious?

If you think that is a good resource to give to a Muslim friend, you obviously have no concern for their souls, it seems it would have moreso to do with winning the argument. I say that as an ex-muslim.

Muslims need a christian friend who will be there, and get to know them, before directly forcing their views on them. They need someone to show them the love of Christ. It seems, unfortunately, you are not that person.

I may be wrong though, maybe in the future you'll be capable of that task. :)

Look it is not a black and white question.

If a Muslim prays and says: "God who created the universe hear my prayer."
Will not our God, the only God who exists hear it?

on the other hand
If someone is worshipping 'The God of the Koran'
then it will not be our God, cause that book was written by a man.

To say: all Muslims worship Satan is ludicrous
to say they all worship the one true God is also ludicrous
