Jesus came into this world in the most humble way, he was born to a virgin 18 year old who could not afford to give birth in an inn so gave birth in a barn. He was born as a lowly human so He could identify with poverty. He came to identify with humans and what it felt to be like one of us and what temptation, tiredness, loneliness and every other human weakness felt like. He came to forgive the world of sin for all those who believe in Him. He came to be a bridge and only way to the Father and eternal life. He came to sacrifice His life for use so that we could be like Him and have salvation, healing, forgiveness and His grace. By His stripes we are healed. He came to die for us to save us.

BUT when He comes back, he shall be in glory, in majesty, in power, in authority as King of Kings and Lord of Lords and every knee shall bow, every tongue confess the He is Lord. He came as a baby but He will come back in His fullness. He will come in judgement for all who believe will be separated from those who do not. And we will not be able to complain when He does this because at have all had a chance to make a commitment to Him. may have gone off track lol.

The only connection is that He is coming back because is coming back in a completely different way. Hope that helps. If not, expand on what you mean :) God bless.

No way to improve on what Gazza said... :)
Because Jesus came some 2000 years ago to provide a way to get God back into hearts of men (to bring spiritual life where there was death), and to begin restoring His kingdom (in our hearts)--
He will return to finish the job! There've been many years for His grace to be offered to sinful (wo)men. The day will come when that will cease.
When every knee will bow to Him, and every tongue confess Jesus is Lord, to the glory of the Father.
So, while it still called "today"...we have opportunity to repent, and accept the free gift of salvation! :) :)

An oversimplification, indeed. My words do little, but His Word brings eternal life. ♥
Check out the Bible? :)

I think we as Christian would do will, to remember that most Jewish people, missed the Messiah First Coming because they where looking for a conquering King. I say this because I don't believe in a pre-trib rapture, but I need to be prepare just in case there is one, just as those who do believe in pre-trib rapture need to keep an open mind unless we missed the blessing of His Second Coming altogether.

A great man of God said, live as if He is coming back tomorrow so you are ready for His return, but plan if He is never coming back so you can live a prosperous life if He does not. Too many Christians live a life of sin and say "ive got plenty of time to get my life right with God". But on the other extreme, too many Christians plan like He is coming back tomorrow, so they don't live at all really and dont do the work God had asked them to do.
