I was watching a video of one of the top crossfit games competitors and he said his motivation was that he knew that could glorify God through this. I always thought unless you were doing a good deed you couldn't really glorify God. So, if he is glorifyfing God through that. If I bodybuildncan that be something to glorify God too? I just need a good explanation maybe with a verse to explain how physical activity such as bodybuilding can glorify God.

This sounds like admiring one's own person, and this would be beyond idolatry. There is nothing at all wrong with being fit, however when it becomes narcissism, the limit has been exceeded. Worship God! (It boils down to, it depends on one's true motivation.)

Glorify God in all that you do. In thought, speech, actions, diet and fitness. I've heard one person call it "The Gospel Lifestyle". You stand to be a much better witness for God when you're in Good Health.
