I did this with another person in a thread. Him and I disagree on a lot, so I decided to search his posts, and give him an amen on something I agree with him on.

So here's the exercise. I'm SURE most frequent users of this forum have someone they disagree with much on. If you want to, find a post you agree with, from someone you normally disagree with, and give them a friendly amen or nod of agreement in reply.

This is a very nice idea. It's like stalking without the nefarious intentions.

However, after a bit of an absence from CC on my part, I see the person I used to argue most with, avinu, is banned. I don't think it would be the same if he couldn't see my "Amen" to a post. Can we un-ban him? Even if just for a day so that I can take part in the exercise? :D

I believe there is room for disagreement in the body of Christ. Obviously a line has to be drawn somewhere but I see many people going at each others throats over minor differences.

I thought everyone exercised this practice? I am still waiting on some though.....

I'm happy to agree, as long as we all agree that if referring to a group of people mutually agreeing on something, that the word is 'agreement' not 'agreeance'. ie: So, we're all in agreement that 'agreeance' is not a word?

Although I agree that agreeing is a good step towards good comunication. :)
Ive always thought that simply following scripture was the way. :)
Which is to esteem others above one self, treating them as you would want to be treated.
With the attitude and heart of a servant in how one treats others.
And a heart of love in Jesus.
Avoiding senceless arguments. :)

Although Im sure agreement is a part of this. :)

I like this thread. :)
Thankyou still waters.

God bless

lol makes me wonder

When can you make sense out of an argument?

when you have the love of Christ as the foundation of the conversation.
