There are two types of Christians and it is needed to make a choice. One group believes saved if go back to a life of sin, the other believes must overcome sin to make it. If the second group perseveres and believes to go to heaven, how will they make it without the power of the Holy Spirit?

One thing that will help is confessing and putting known sin under the blood. God has promised to give us grace and not a licence to sin. We need him to tell us where we are missing it. We could have hidden things that we don't know about. David said Lord keep me from secret faults.

It would be so easy to live the wrong life and have no conviction. That is called fire escape security. Nobody wants to go to Hades. God is holy and we must be so we can show ourselves worthy to escape judgment. We must go to the cross also and die to self love and gratification. God wants to bless us with abundant life---that must be a spiritual life---proof ----Rom. 8:6 to be fleshly minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

I would say there are three types.

1. Licentious.: These think you can say a prayer and go on living as you did.
2. Legalistic: These things salvation is bought by some type of legal system where we contribute with our own salvation by doing some sort of work system
3. Faith based: These believe we are totally deserving of eternal damnation, thus no work could ever get out out of our predicament. That only By Gods grace can we saved thanks to Gods saving grace. Since true repentance was made, these will also show a changed life, as the sin they agree kept them from God, they also agree they need to change, Yet they rely still on not their own power, but the power of God to break their bond of sin.

The first two is all about self. Refusal to admit we are really sinners in the first. and refusal to admit all our good works will account for nothing in the second one. What stops both from becoming the third type is pride.

I AM A BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN. A CATHOLIC TOLD ME BEING CATHOLIC IS NOT CHRISTIAN. WHAT ABOUT THE SCRIPTURE THAT SAYS, I THINK IT'S IN REV. BUT YOU COULD GOOGLE THESE WORDS, IT'LL SHOW YOU. "IF YOUR NEITHER HOT NOR COLD, GOD WILL SPEW YOU OUT OF HIS MOUTH." I TAKE THE HOT LOVE FOR MY LORD EVERYDAY.
