I thought it would be good to inform you of some of the false doctrines of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Here are a few quotes from the JWs. #1 Annialation "Would a loving God really torment people forever?... The wicked, of course, are not literally tormented because, as we have seen, when a person is dead he is completely out of existence... And it is also a lie, which the Devil spread, that the souls of the wicked are tormented." (from You Can Live Forever in Paradise on Earth) #2 Their view on the Trinity: "Sincere persons who want to know the true God and serve Him find it a bit difficult to love and worship a complicated, freakish-looking, three-headed God." (from Let God Be True) #3 Their view of the deity of Christ "Jesus was 'the Son of God.' Not God himself!" (from "The Word," Who Is He?) #4 Their view of the Holy Spirit "No, the holy spirit is not a person and it is not part of a Trinity. The holy spirit is God's active force that he uses to accomplish his will. It is not equal to God but is always at his disposition and subordinate to him." (from Should You Believe In The Trinity) #5 They believe you must be a JW to be saved. "To receive everlasting life in the earthly Paradise we must identify that organization and serve God as part of it." (from The Watchtower, February 15, 1983) These are just a few of the false doctrines of the JWs. I hope this helps someone who didn't know if JWs were Christian or not. They definitly are not.
