You beat me to it sir. That's the very first scripture verse that came to my mine when I read the other guy's post.
Honestly, they don't know what they are getting into, because the bible is so full of scripture that talks about the power of OUR tongue, that it borders on the ridiculous, as far as them not being able to see these things.
Am a Mrs. but my user name apparently sounds male. Lol

Isaiah 57:19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him.
So, what does this have anything to do about a parent speaking incantations to their children as you claimed?

Want another? I saw no response.

Joh 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Joh 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Proverbs 12:18 There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.

Pro 12:19

Proverbs 12:19 The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.

Jesus is quoting the psalm which calls those in the psalm "gods" but goes on to say they are not gods just men. Jesus isn't telling His audience they are gods. If you think you are a god then you fall under God's curse:
“Tell them this: ‘These gods, who did not make the heavens and the earth, will perish from the earth and from under the heavens.’ ”
Jeremiah 10:11 NIV
https://bible.com/bible/111/jer.10.11.NIV
Yes, Jesus is telling us that we are gods. The way He put it, "I said, ye are gods", regardless of the fact that we are all going to die, we are what Jesus said we are.
We are not only made in His image, after His likeness, but we are sons and daughters of the Most High God.
Like Jesus, we have authority over demons, in His name, by His word.
Like God, we can send His word, which is the power of God, to heal, if we have faith, or to cast out, and it is the word we send itself that does the work.
Like God, death and life is in the power of our tongue.
But God is the one who creates the fruit of our lips.
We are just too ignorant of Christ to walk in the fullness of the new covenant He provided for us.

Incantations? Lol

The Word from the Lord is promises!

I have three children living. One with Jesus.

This is what He gave me when first born again. And had never heard of word of faith.

Isa 44:3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

Isa 44:4 And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.

Isaiah 44:5 One shall say, I am the LORD'S; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

I'm seriously concerned about you. Why would anyone want to cast doubt on the promises from the Lord. You hold to them like the scripture says

Rom 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Rom 4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

Rom 4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:

Rom 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

Rom 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Rom 4:22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

Rom 4:23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;

Rom 4:24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

Rom 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Are you born again? Is Jesus the Lord of your life?

We only do and say what we see and hear. Walking as Jesus walked. By the gifts He gives. The promises over situations in our lives.

And as overcomers by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of Testimony.

How does one overcome but not by faith in the Word of God? Hath He not said, and shall He not do it?

Keeping the Word in our mouth, opening our mouth and He fills it.

Its not hard to understand. Yet there is blindness. Many reasons why. That would make a good thread. Why do Christians not believe what God promises to do? And do you wait on Him to know what to do and say?

Yes, Hagin put a lot of emphasis on money. Just off the top of my head:
What God Taught Me About Properity
Faith Takes
Godliness Is Profitable
How To Succeed In Life
How To Write Your Own Ticket With God
Knowing What Belongs To Us
Obedience In Finances
You Can Have What You Say
...and more
I've read all of those books, and more. Here's a list of Kenneth Hagin's books. Over 200 of them by Kenneth Hagin and his son. Kenneth E Hagin: List of Books by Author Kenneth E Hagin The vast majority are about faith, confession, healing, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. But let's take a look at the ones you listed.

What God Taught Me About Properity - I think you mean HOW God Taught Me About Prosperity. Thais is a 32 page booklet, and in this book he told how he went into field ministry for a year after pastoring for 13 years and ended up broke. He went to the Lord in prayer about it and God told him how to deal with the matter. After that he wasn't struggling financially any more. https://goo.gl/GeBHdx

Faith Takes - I guess you mean Faith Takes Back What the Devil has Stolen, which was actually written by his son. In that book he talked about a number of issues besides money, including how one man prayed his mean wife into the Kingdom.

Godliness Is Profitable - This was a 27 page booklet where he talked about the benefits of godliness, and most of it wasn't about money.

How To Succeed In Life - I think you mean How to Be a Success in Life by Kenneth W. Hagin ... again, the son. This is a 30 page booklet that includes chapters on spiritual development and wisdom.

How To Write Your Own Ticket With God - This was another booklet of 32 pages where he discussed a vision and the steps to receiving from God where he talked about David & Goliath and the woman with the issue of blood. He also told the story of his son suffering an attack while visiting the Mormon Temple.

Knowing What Belongs To Us - Another 32 page booklet. This one deals almost exclusively with healing and deliverance.

Obedience In Finances - Yet another 32 page booklet. In this one he talked about obeying God with your finances in order to receive healing and provision in other areas.

You Can Have What You Say - And yet another 32 page booklet. Over half of this book is about healing.

You listed 8 minibooks out of a library of over 200 books, two of which were written by his son, and some of these books were mostly about other subjects than money. Thank you for proving my point. I attended Kenneth Hagin's school. I've read his books, attended his seminars and campmeeting conventions, and watched his videos. Yes, he discussed money occasionally, but as I said he didn't talk that much about money. He mostly discussed faith, confession, healing, deliverance, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the life of God, and the authority we have in Jesus' name.

No, he isn't. Do you see the double quotes? That means Jesus is quoting the Psalm. The psalmist is saying that not Jesus. Jesus then goes on "if he called THEM gods.." the psalmist called those who he is referring to in the psalm "gods". Then Jesus turns the focus back onto himself "then why are you upset if I say I am the Son of God?" At no point in this is Jesus telling his audience they are gods. You are not a god. People who claim to be a god are blaspheming. The First Commandment says, "You shall have no other gods but Me." This polytheistic heresy is the foundation of the WOF movement and why it is so dangerous.

You missed Isaiah's point because you think Bible verses are to be taken out of context and claimed to be promises from God. So why didn't you pick this one to speak over your children?
“But you—come here, you witches’ children, you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes!

I attended a Rhema church. That's where I first heard the teaching that Jesus taught more about money than any other subject. And like I said, those were just off the top of my head. I can provide more if I dig through my vast library of Hagin books and tapes but your misinformation doesn't work on people like me who know better.

It sounds like you're conflating Jesus talking about money with Kenneth Hagin talking about money. I'm not going to dispute that Jesus talked a lot about money, because He talked about matters of the heart and money reflects what you value in life. But Kenneth Hagin's focus was on faith, confession, healing, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. He wrote about other things but they weren't the focus of his ministry.

Adoption only refers to the legal aspect of salvation. II Peter 1:4 says that we've been made partakers of the divine nature. I John chapter 3 Jesus said we must be born again. That's not referring to adoption. That's referring to regeneration by the Holy Spirit. So no .... we aren't only sons by adoption.

We are sons by adoption:

So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”
Romans 8:15 NLT
https://bible.com/bible/116/rom.8.15.NLT

And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies he has promised us.
Romans 8:23 NLT
https://bible.com/bible/116/rom.8.23.NLT

God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

So, we are only sons by adoption. Regeneration is when God adopts us into His kingdom. Regeneration doesn't deify us into gods.

Thank you Lancelot for taking the time to post about K.Hagin. I'm not a follower of his personally since I've never read any of his books or listened to his preaching but I agree with what you have posted and what know1 posted and what Stonesoffire and others who believe in the the many gifts we have in the atonement of Christ. And if K.Hagin believes this too than I'm sure I have no problems with him either.

People can argue all they want about this preacher and that preacher or this movement and that movement. We are all fallible people so problems will always arise when the focus is on people. I believe we can take the good of what men like K. Hagin preached and taught and use it and be blessed by it.

I shudder to think of what I'd look like before the world if put under the microscope and dissected the way people do here with preachers and teachers. These preachers and teachers have been used of God to lead millions to Christ. How many of us have been used in this way? Yet the condemnation flows as people nit pick and dissect others in the body of Christ.

I have no use for it. I'm thankful for Christians like you and others here who see the good and post the good and right and useful. There is more than enough bad in the world. The Bible says in Christ we are no longer condemned. Rom.8:1 But sad to say some Christians can be the very worst when it comes to condemnation and judging.

Personally when I disagree with another believer or Christian teacher or preacher., I don't listen to them and I don't recommend them to people. I see no good at all in condemning anyone. If Jesus didn't condemn anyone but died to save them even while they were lost sinners., who am I to condemn? Especially when so much grace has been poured out on me. I see this in people like you and the others mentioned in this post already. They will know we are Christians by our love.

I think people who condemn have not yet seen the grace of God working in their lives. How can people give what they have not yet believed and worked out by faith? Unmerited love and favor is poured out in our lives every day. We love God because He first loved us... And His kind of gracious love teaches us.

The Bible says that the grace of God teaches us how to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts.. how to live soberly, righteously and Godly in this present world. Titus 2:11

[SUP]11 [/SUP]For the grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind.
[SUP]
12 [/SUP]It has trained us to reject and renounce all ungodliness (irreligion) and worldly (passionate) desires, to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), upright, devout (spiritually whole) lives in this present world,
[SUP]
13 [/SUP]Awaiting and looking for the [fulfillment, the realization of our] blessed hope, even the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One),
