I believe Satan has deceived the world into believing that Jesus death is what we need to focus on for are salvation. I believe that we should focus on the life, death, and resurrection for salvation! Satan brought sin and death into this world, and it makes a lot of since, to say that he wants us to focus on what he did. After all he did fall because of pride. Satan wants death for us...God wants us to have life! Is death really the light that shows us the way, or is LIFE the light that guides are path? Satan brought death to us...God gives us life. It should be clear that life should be are focus. This is what the life, death and resurrection was meant to show us...it shows us how to live. It points us to life after death, not just in heaven, but here on earth. In gods kingdom life is eternal, because life doesn't do anything deserving of death. God wants us to have this same kind of life here on earth. This is how the kingdom of god is here in the true believers. The kingdom of god is here, when we choose to live like those who live in heaven...without sin!!!

LIFE... represents JESUS LIFE, and MANKIND LIVING WITHOUT SIN in the beginning.

DEATH... is the consequence of mankind choosing sin. JESUS reflected this in his DEATH.

RESURRECTION...JESUS LEAD THE WAY, BY SHOWING US THE TRUTH...AND THAT TRUTH IS THIS, WE CAN ALL COME BACK TO LIFE...A LIFE WITHOUT SIN, HERE ON EARTH.

JESUS WAS BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE(A SINLESS LIFE) HERE ON EARTH, THEN HE WAS LIFTED UP TO HEAVEN.
JESUS ALLOWED NO ONE TO TOUCH HIM BEFORE HE WENT TO HIS FATHER AFTER HIS RESURRECTION BECAUSE HE WANTED TO SHOW US THAT SIN DID NOT TOUCH HIM AFTER HE CAME BACK TO LIFE, THUS SHOWING US THAT WE ARE TO WALK AWAY FROM WILLFULLY SIN AFTER WE COME BACK TO LIFE(GOD)!!!!

SIN SEPARATES US FROM GOD!!!! SIN EQUALS DEATH
GOD SEPARATES US FROM SIN!!! GOD EQUALS LIFE

I believe you cant have one without the other... :)

I can see the point, that the Life and resurrection is important to focus on, however, I think it's hard to forget the death because the death signifies our own dying to ourselves. We need to do that to get the benefits of Life. As Paul said, I must die daily to Live.

From Gethsemane and giving over His will, to carrying the cross, the crown of thorns and each stripe on His back, the nails in His hands and the nakedness, to the spear in His side and the Life pouring out - these are all significant things to a Christian, full of meaning. The burial was an important time, and the resurrection was the overcoming promise of restoration of new Life.
In my mind, they all go together to get the full meaning. I love the following scripture because I see it all in there,
Philippians 3:
10That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead
