Those today who go around calling everyone ''religious'' are actually religious themselves. They just do it with an air of warm fuzzy superiority.

So here are some top reasons you may get called ''religious'' by these types.

1. You feel the Bible has enough revelation for you and more ''spiritual'' experiences aren't needed.

2. You care about doctrine.

3. You may not jump/sway/dance/wave a banner/swing a flag during worship.

4. You don't heap scorn on sick and the chronically ill people, and tell them it's because they lack faith.

5. You don't see a demon/devil behind every bush.

6. You want more depth to your worship songs. You feel songs should go beyond saying nananananana, and/or repeating the same word over and over until your pulse is raising and you fall over due to lack of oxygen and a racing pulse.

7. You refuse to accept modern day ''manifestations of the Spirit" because they are 100% unlike what we see in the Bible.

8. You have an eschatological view that doesn't mirror the Left Behind series by 70% or more.

9. You don't replace your traditional ways of doing things, with the ''new way'' that is simply a developing ''tradition'' in and of itself.

10. You believe louder, longer, mixed with tons of emotion isn't necessarily ''anointed''. It may just be the warm fuzzy religious mimicking what they perceive as ''of the Spirit''.

11. Though you don't see a demon behind every bush, you've seen legions of them having a gay old time at 'revivals'. If you point it out, that's evidence you have a 'religious spirit'.

Love it stilly. This is an unique time, when worship becomes less about God and more about the "experience."

Thanks K,

I miss Abiding. He used to spend hours talking to me after someone had beaten the snot of me verbally in these forums.

Looking back, I guess he and a few others on here were loving enough to take the time to disciple me through the landmines. If I am able to help anyone half as much as they helped me, then I might feel like a teenage Christian.

I freely admit I was a baby when I joined this site, wanting to pet every wolf that wandered in the flock.

No slamming flags to people's heads?
My, how religious!
I wouldn't call someone with those points religious, but once we had a wedding and all those leaders from that guy didn't want to marry him. They did not agree. So one week before the big day he asked my ex if he wanted to do the sermon, since noone wanted to. Sure! And there were all those leaders sitting there, not approving, but still they came. Then I was used to always dance around with flags. Eeeww the atmosphere. I didn't dare to. I should have just done it. Never have I been to a service like that. My goodness. You could hear a pencil drop. Even a Dutch reformed wedding service was fun. All those people standing there, without moving a finger and I just hipped on the organ music.

Some people just need a little help to loosen up in church.

WOW..the joy of the Lord was so overwhelming...are we sure these people are saved and actually know about the Lord?...lol..are they ever going to get a shock when they go to be with the Lord. I did see one guy nod his head though so maybe revival is broken through.

When I was in college there was this dance called "the Bump."

I can't bump anymore -- dance wise -- but let me bump one more time!
