The active tells us that the subject (God) is the performer of the action. The importance of this is that there is/ will be no new revelation of God's will which He revealed through Christ and the faith in Him as the means of salvation. There is nothing new to be revealed in God's salvational plan which has not already been said.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]the mystery = the mystery of Christ Eph 3:4. That God's plan of reconciliation was through Jesus becoming the Christ.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]His will = It is important to note here that God was determined to see the fulfillment of His salvation plan through Christ. I know I keep saying this, but for some reason I am lead to keep saying this. Perhaps, there are some who feel that God was not delighted to have done this, but that He did it through obligation of fairness. God forbid! Seeing that it says that God so loved the world that He gave up (supplied, surrendered, delivered) His only begotten Son. We did nothing to deserve His grace, but He gave it nonetheless. We rebelled against Him, not He against us, but yet He sought reconciliation first.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]set forth = to set out to accomplish something for one's self (middle voice). Him having purposed in Himself the fulfillment of His gracious act, is answer enough in response to what was said in response to 'His will'. God wanted this more than we can imgine, inasmuch as a man is purposed in a set goal.

Forgot a verb in verse 9.

He set forth (2Aorist Middle Indicative) = The second aorist tells us that there is a consequence from the action. The middle voice tells us that He received the action of the verb. The question remains, "What was the consequence of Him having purposed salvation through grace and not Law?" The consequence of this is: His words shall not return to him null. If He purposed it, it shall be done.

Christ peeps, read deeply into this Word for yourself , distance yourself more and more from the things that do not love you and the spirits that want to entice you to action of evil great proportions AND set your mind on spiritual things , of God's will, for He set up everything for you, after having created you into being.

Why should we Love Christ? Because He died on the cross for us through His Son's sacrifice showing us all a compassionate, caring God who, indeed, greatly cares about us as His divine mystery will changed us from bonded to free. Indeed !

And, as cee said that we should love God for His sacrifice that covered ALL our sins, past, present, future, for His children that embrace and live , faith-going, as His Spirit leads, knowing that ALL their little missteps (deviations) are covered by the grace of God

I think that we need to keep the loveliness of our salvation alive.

I like these verses of David, I hope their is some interrelated thought to what's being said in this study.
We trusted in God for our salvation, so, let's continue that trust and let the Holy Spirit Lear our lives.

Maybe these verses and this video can energize you to re-energize your life to Him

The words ""with thy"" are not in the original, and there is nothing there to indicate that by the word "spirit" the psalmist refers to the Spirit of God, though it should be observed that there is nothing "against" such a supposition. The word rendered "free" - נדיב nadıyb-means properly "willing, voluntary, ready, prompt;" 1 Chronicles 28:21; Exodus 35:5. I think that we need to keep the loveliness of our salvation alive. --- How true. God is faithful and He will never abandon us, but we humans can sometimes lay aside those things we deem to be of no more importance for that day's worries. Although the Spirit will continue to beckon you back to the path, we must never forget that it is us who willfully walk and we who decide to continue walking, the LORD respects your will. Greenie, how do we keep the loveliness (very good choice of a word.) of our salvation alive? Faith's obedience which is obedience to the guidance from the Spirit?

Eph 1:14 Who is a down payment (security deposit, pledge) of our inheritance until a deliverance (redemption) of that purchased possession (acquisition) to (result (point reached)) a laudation (commentation) of His glory.

KJV Eph 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Notes:

Who is (Present Active Indicative) = First to note is that it is speaking of the Holy Spirit as a person. The present indicative tells us about the very present and indicates the continuance into the future until/unless something happens to stop it. The active tells us that it is a action from Him. That is, the Holy Spirit will continue to dwell in us until our redemption has come and then, we shall be like that great cloud of witnesses who watches us in Heaven, changed forevermore into incorruptness.

deliverance = redemption in the sense of Buyer coming to retrieve what He has purchased.
