Are you still sick, and you believe in Jesus?
Are you wondering if God has lied or failed you?
Are you wondering if you're that way because you just don't have the right level of faith?

Many Christians believe in a teaching that is built on a faulty foundation.

It is nothing more than a religious teaching and doctrine of man.

It leads many to think that God has lied or failed them.

Many think they lack faith because of this teaching.

In a nutshell, this teaching says ALL will be healed if they have enough faith and believe enough. It also teaches that ALL will be financially rich if they have enough faith and sow enough seed.

Many sincere Christians follow this teaching, yet remain sick and poor. They then wonder if God is lying. They wonder if they lack faith. Sometimes they abandon the faith or beat themselves up over it.

They quote and believe "By His stripes I am healed.": Until they are blue in the face, yet they remain sick.

I have good news for people.

*God hasn't lied.
*God hasn't failed.
*If you're saved and remain sick, it's not because your faith isn't strong enough.

The problem is that you have believed in a teaching that is in error.

The problem isn't with God or your faith.

The problem is with the teaching.

Here's a very easy thing to remember.

If we could have the fullness of heaven now, we'd be in heaven now!

Yes, by His stripes we are healed.

But when is that going to be FULLY realized for ALL believers?

Again, if we could have the fullness of heaven NOW, we'd be in heaven NOW!

We remain in this fallen world. Yes we're the people of God. Yes we're his children. Yet, due to being on this side of heaven, we're not going to have the full realities of heaven.

Here is what the Bible says.

Romans 8
22 For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together with labor pains until now. 23 And not only that, but we ourselves who have the Spirit as the firstfruits—we also groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for adoption, the redemption of our bodies. 24 Now in this hope we were saved, yet hope that is seen is not hope, because who hopes for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with patience.

See, we're still in a state of hope and expectation for what happens when Jesus comes back to restore everything to perfection.

Don't hear me wrong. God does indeed still heal today. But to expect the FULLNESS of heaven NOW for ALL, is very unbiblical. Sometimes the fullness of heaven spills over in to our present fallen world, and we get a taste.

For now though, we wait, in expectation for the FULL manifestation of restoration of all of creation.

So if you've shouted "BY HIS STRIPES I AM HEALED" until you're blue in the face, and your "believer" is broken, take heart! God hasn't failed or lied. You're faith isn't broken.

The only thing that has failed is the faulty doctrine of man this false teaching was built upon. Only the light of the Holy Spirit can set people free of this tradition of man.

For some, eg, the 'hoo¿' of salvation is not going to be a catch-all lure.

Their expecting more than 'eternal life' alone will bring, they WANT earthly riches in their temporal life and speak for them in the name of Jesus and when their speaking does NOT come true from this 'testing'of God they get CAUGHT UP in thinking that the head fish, Jesus, isn't watching out for them. So, this becomes reason enough for the speak-rich believer to doubt their faith, to doubt their 'love' that causes salvation lost, they become unhooKed :(

Doubt their faith? Doubt their faith, they apostate . And that is when Satan, who is very real and wants unbelievers' souls and believers' souls alike, luring them from the Master's hand, to PLUCK them then.... :(

A faith that is based in riches of God being given them in form of material wealth and material healing as a STIPULATION for them to believe is testing God.

And, what did Jesus say to temptations of God? One thing He said was quite clear, I think we all can agree: Thou shalt not TEST the Lord thy God.

People put your words of faith in Jesus and following His net result , NOT yours. Sure, it's OK,Cto ask for thibgs but you MUST genuinely believe in His perfect way to ANSWER that ask. And, the answer YOU receive may be completely differentvthan what you were expecting.

'I wanted a Lexus and you gave me leprosy.'

Stay TRUE, God will take care iLife you through and through , true, stay true to Him, your Truth.

:)

Well said, stilledwaters.

:) YAH YAHWEY DOSN'T LIE. THE ONLY THING THAT IS PERMANENT IS GOD'S LOVE AND HIS PROMISES FOR US. EVERYTHING IS JUST A TEMPORARY CIRCUMSTANCE. YES WHETHER HEALING IS NOW OR LATER IT WILL HAPPEN, AND IS ON IT'S WAY, TAKE HEART. THE TEMPORARY THINGS DON'T LAST. :)

God canot lie, indeed he has no motivation to lie. If God were to say a thing, such as ..an elephant with two trunks.it would not be a lie, because it would be standing in front of him. God's word is true..more true then any circumstances. If you are sick, that might be a "fact" but God calls you healed, and that is truth.

Ahh but the full manifestation of that for ALL is not on this side of heaven. If it was, we'd be in heaven now.

Neither Peter nor Isaiah is talking about health...that is the problem of the teaching

If your gona go to Isaiah....start please in chapter 1...and learn what the ailment was
...it was sin....then look at the use of it in Peters epistle...same thing.

Jesus stripes was for sin. When sin is eradicated for good....then sickness and death the last foe
will be eradicated.

If this is not your view...then why did the Apostles heal? Seems silly with the view that the atonement
guarantees healing before the eternal state...thats where the promise is.

OP
i loved what you wrote
We know that God cannot lie
For some people being sick and poor is the trials we must face, possibly because God knows that some of us can't handle wealth, it would just be too much temptation, and some are sick because God is teaching us something or growing our faith, only God knows, and it's disgusting when people claim you don't have enough faith, i was a victim of that teaching for a long time, now i know better

Thanks.

It truly is sad to observe the injured being injured even more, due to really bad doctrine. That's why doctrine and eschatology is important.

We can theorize why people go through this or that. But in the end, the reality is simply this.

We're not in heaven. That's why stuff is broken.

Someday stuff won't be broken. But for now it is.

What is truly amazing is when the Holy spirit uses someone else, (like Still Waters ;)) to confirm something that He has been showing you within the past week......How great is our God!
Thank you for hearing, and being obedient to the Spirit of God who caused you to share this truth. Amen. I will never doubt in this area again. Amen.

One does not need great faith to be healed. In fact, I am absolutely convinced that the same amount of faith that it takes to be saved is the same amount of faith that it takes to be healed. Over the years I have witnessed personally numerous people who have been healed physically, spiritually and emotionally upon salvation. Some were even completely delivered from serious alcohol and drug addictions without a single withdrawal symptom afterward.

In my personal opinion, the reason why some people are healed while others are not isn't so much an issue of faith but rather, an issue of understanding the will of God:

1 John 5: 14 -15
(Amp)

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

I believe that the reason why some people get healed while others do not is that while they all may believe that God can heal, not all believe that God will heal. The reason for this is usually two fold; they are uncertain of the will of God for their own lives because they have been taught that God's will concerning healing varies from person person.

If that's the case what are we to say of paul and job??? Job wasn't healed until the end because God was testing his faith. Your reasoning is flawed

This guy seemed to be uncertain. Thats why he asked "if you will", but Jesus healed him regardless of the fact that the man was uncertain if Jesus would do it. So, I dont believe that thats the reason why some people dont get healed.

Matt 8:2
And behold, a leper came to him and knelt before him, saying, "Lord, if you will, you can make me clean."
Matt 8:3
And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, "I will; be clean." And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
