Refrance Mathew 19: 21 the merciless official

Im refering to this scripture as Jesus showed me last night how I had this in my heart.
I am so greatful to God Our Father for His lovng chastizement. :)

Its so easy to let ourselves think we are forgivng.
I thought I had done this, but thankfully, the plank was removed from my eyes.
You see, I have a few people who caused me great injury, breaking my trust and well, simply said, they really hurt me.
I had forgiven them, but since, I have been very cautious aroung them, unwilling to show much of my love, as I didnt want to give them the oppertunity to injure me again
I believed myself justified in this, untill last night.

You know how it is, when Jesus sets scripture right in front of you, making sure you see and hear.
It was a humbleing time, and I praise God Our Father for this!
Simply because even though I had forgiven them, seeing this scripture showed me that I still held them accountible still, treated them as they were still oweing me.

I considered the scritpure before me,, the servant who when brought before the king over moneys owed.
Begged for mercy, mercy was given and his debts were forgiven.
But as soon as he was freed of these debts, when he came across one who still owed him money?
He attacked them, calling emediatly for what was owed him, selling off the man and his family for the debt, even though it was a fraction of what he had just been forgiven by the king.

Well when the king heard of what the servant shown mercy had done, it did not go well for that servant.

Now some might say I am wise in my caution around these that harmed me, but Jesus showed me that we are all shown mercy, and Jesus does not wth hold His mercy, grace or love from us, even though we still fail, even though we nailed Him to the cross.

Imagine if Jesus with held His mercy, grace and love, even part of this, untill we could prove we would never sin again.
I then saw that forgiveness is not about keeping any debts remembered, or with holding the mercy, grace and love from another.
That forgiveness is to reliese that person compleatly.
As Jesus said, forgiving seven times seventy, and as the parable spoke to, we are to hold nothing in debt against them.

The part about what the king did, is telling us what God will do to us if we fail to forgive.
I am greatful for this scripture, as I had let the world convince me that I had the right to with hold much, because of what these people had done to me.
But doing this is not true forgiveness.

True forgiveness is to forgive, as we have been forgiven, showing the other the same mercy, grace and love that we recieve from God Our Father in Jesus Christ is Lord come in the flesh.
And I now saw that I had with held some of my love from these people.

Again, thankyou Father for your chastizement!

I know some situations may ask why, for those that have done horrible things that are an abomination in God's sight.
But scripture speaks to such things as well, not throwing pearls before swine.
But I do think we need to be careful as to what we judge as swine.
Simply because, this scripture does speak to Gods anger as well when we fail to forgive when we should.

Anyway, I just wanted to share this, as knowing the debt we have been forgiven, seeing we are asked to forgive as we are forgiven.
But also to remind us that God will hold us accountible, if we hold others the same.

Thankyou Father for your great mercy, grace , and love in Jesus.
Thankyou for showing me where I fell short.
Please in Jesus, grant us all the same heart of mercy and forgiveness you have shown us.
Thankyou! Jesus Christ is Lord come in the flesh!

God bless

It is extremely important to keep in the forefront of our conscience that a person can only be truly forgiven if that person wants to be forgiven. It is akin to salvation, in that a person must receive it.

In other words, an individual must truly want either, otherwise it simply cannot be received or even given in truth.

I do not know if this holds with others, but I always remember when one has been wrong in my humble esteem, but I never judge anyone, not one, to condemnation. Thus no dept is being exacted by me from others. This I leave to the One Who earned what was already His, Yeshua, Jesus. His desire is not to lose one single soul, so you and I know just how sad it is when one is lost. Yahweh, God, bless all in Yeshua, amen.

The more I look at the life Jesus lived and showed us, the more I see how how great His love for us is.
His sacrifice and forgiveness, is eternal to any who call upon Him asking forgiveness.
To consider the gift we each hope and strive for, and to remember that this gift is the same for every person, is to keep always in mind and heart that this gift is for the one next to you, and the one who has caused also great harm.
For the mesure is not so much about how we were harmed, but how much we forgive.

To often we tend to examine what another has done, the world giving justification for our rejecting or setting the one who injured us aside.
Speaking all the time about the reqirements of how each other should behave, or treat another.
Yet Jesus suffered all our sins for us, bringing forgiving salvation, not collecting any dept from us.
Yet with the heart of a servant, helping, healing, loving and promising salvation.
I often wonder that Jesus looking at us, seeing all our sins, the injuries we have caused, and yet loving us still.
May we all seek this same love for each other, as called to in the greatest comandment.
To love the lord Our God with all our mind, heart soul and streangth.
To love our neighbor as ones self.

I always thought I had strived to forgive as called to, thankyou Jesus for showing me how much greater your firgivness is, and how much more one can forgive in Him.:)

Sounds sort of crass but forgiving others is good for us. Being our brother's keeper does not mean sitting in judgement over him it means loving him unconditionally even when he makes mistakes. Others see Jesus in us, when we do that.

It is in this that we begin to see, that it is in our weakness, that God's power is made perfect, and by this, that His understanding is given.
Be still and know that I am God, when we are able to do this? :):):)

My biggest battle is being still. :) thankfully, Jesus helps us in this as well. :)
For as scripture says, in Him , everything that was made was made,
and everything that was not made, was not.
