1Titus 3:12
Yea, and all live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Because when you are living godly in Christ Jesus, you start actually hearing from God. The bible is no longer just a commandment book, it becomes a living love letter written with the very life blood of Jesus. And He begins to manifest Himself to you in many ways. Sometimes you might see an angel, or sometimes you will have a vision or you will have a dream. And sometimes He will give you a sign in the sky or sun or moon or earth. Sometimes He will cause oil to come out of your hands like He did with AA Allen:
5:45

[TRANSLATED] Rev. A. A. Allen - Supernatural ... [video unavailable]
[TRANSLATED] Rev. A. A. Allen - Supernatural Oil (Part 1) [video unavailable]

Rev. Allen receives supernatural oil on his hands during a campmeeting in the 60's

And when you begin to experience signs and wonders, people think you are into something evil, and they begin to call the things of God demonic.
And the majority of the persecution is from a religious spirit that deceives people into thinking that Jesus can't an won't do anything supernatural anymore.

Look if your life is very clean and you are seeking the Lord praying several hours a day and reading the word a lot each day and worshiping God all the time, chances are that if you have a supernatural sign begin to happen it is from GOD!

Why is there so little faith in God's ability to keep us safe?
Why is there such a spirit of fear over signs that Jesus said would be given in the last days?
Yes there will be signs to deceive to convince the world that anti Christ is Messiah, but Jesus said signs would follow those who believe. He also said be very careful how you hear the word of God, to those who have, more shall be given, and to those who don't get it or have it, what they think they have will be taken away.

Why does everything supernatural have to be the devil?
Didn't Jesus say that NOTHING shall be impossible to Him in Heaven or in the Earth?
Will Jesus find faith on the earth when He comes?

The supernatural signs that Jesus gives me, makes me fall more in love with Him and spend more time with Him and it makes me want to please Him in every area of my life and it makes me want to read the word more and more and I could go on and on.
You can believe and receive what the Lord is doing in this hour or you can doubt and do without.
He does not force us to take any gift that we do not want.

These signs have made me so unafraid of what is going on, and so happy about getting ready for the rapture. I don't worry if I have to suffer before hand because now I know how the early church endured such torture! Now I know why Jesus said: don't even be afraid...
Anyway, if you think you can handle what is coming in your own strength, I am telling you it will be much harder than you think.
Anyway soon the later an former rain will come, the harvest will be swept into the barn and the bride will be caught away. I really do want everyone to be a part of it. You can examine yourself to see if you are really in the faith or not. There really is no time to waste.
I saw real blood on the moon in Jan. 14, 2006. These are the last of the last days.
If you have not extra oil for your lamps, you will be going through the tribulation time of testing.
Please be ready for Jesus, once the door is shut...it is too late....

P.S. Your greatest debt you will owe on that day is time spent on this earth in light of such a great salvation. To whom more is given, more will be required.

Yes but every group when criticized plays the crucifixation card. Mormons, jehovah's witnesses, evangelicals, muslims, catholics, etc... have been persecuted somewhere. Charismatic faith healers are ignored by ALL intelligent persons not because we deny God heals rather all there healings are never really miracles. Show me a person who had his hand blown up in Iraq get a new one like in the book of acts... not a person with a fractured hip able to walk for a short time. Also Mr. Allen died because of alcoholism... I guess he couldn't caste that demon out! Also in his ministry he had a legal disclaimer (taken from time magazine in 1969) that said: '' "A. A. Allen Revivals, Inc. assumes no legal responsibility for the veracity of any such report." in concerning reported so-called miracles. Thirdly, Not one miracle by any of these has been a miracle that can be reported and verified by a doctor. None of these miracles are of a quality to those in the book of Acts and the Gospels. If you want to see an impressive preacher look up any small preacher in churches with an average size or small congregation who week by week preaches the Bible and practices Church discipline even when it hurts and preforms marriages and baptisms on occasion. The greatest preachers are not those with the richest ministries because they are often the ones who have compromised the most to get where they are.

If you're seeing things and hearing things, there's a chance that you actually are crazy.

Persecution can come for a lot of reasons, but I think the most common is that sometimes to do what's right you have to step on the toes of people in high places. Christians who were marching for racial civil rights in the 1950s faced persecution for challenging an institutionalized sin, just as Christians 1900 years ago suffered persecution for refusing to participate in the sins institutionalized by the Roman Empire.

I"m not sure I'd want oil or anything else for that matter comming out of my hands! We face persecution cause so many are against Christ, it's not us they hate, it's Him. why? cause He's true, the Messiah, the Son of God. However they believe in false gods/goddesses and whatnot. How does anyone know that this guy didn't have some way of fooling everyone into making them think the oil came from his hands? How do they know he didn't have some sort of invisiable something running up his sleeve, and when he moved a certain way, or did something it made the oil come out? I'm not saying that's what happened, I'm not saying anything, I'm just asking what most will ask you.

For as long as history has been, from Adam and Eve, persecutio has been around. Cause satan fooled them, and made them fall. It's all about God, and He's all powerful, He can do all things...I personally haven't ever seen anyone have oil come out of their hands, or anything else, but do I doubt it could happen? NO cause I don't limit God. I just personally don't think I'd wanna have it happen, it would probably scare me half to death and I'd think something was wrong with me lol.

Anyways, yeah, um...we're persecuted cause of whom and what we believe in. The one, true, and only God. That's the simple answer.

oh also, I ment to mention this...
there's only one book of Titus...and in Titus 3:12(the verse you quoted) doesn't say that...it says When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter.''

The verse you're trying to quote is 2 Timothy 3:12 which says "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.''

Just wanted to clear that up, cause we don't want to misquote the Bible, we have to know what we're talking about when we quote it :) God bless!

Jesus underwent persecution from the religious leaders (harlot) who rode the back of the beast (Pilot) in his day. We will expect the same from the apostate church today. A site with plenty of testimonies is at www.unleavenedbreadministries.org. Look for the testimonies page. Not a prosperity ministry for sure. Also read the Sovereign God book or listen to the book with their mp3 downloads. Plenty of miracles. The Hidden Manna book or videos give the truth on the end times as well.

amen. You see a form of that in here sometimes with people making fun of pentecostals, tongues, prophecy. etc. Just like the religious, not just the pagans, were the ones who most often persecuted and ultimately killed Jesus.

I do not waste my time listening to mp3 downloads from cultish ministries. I want ot know the person's academic credentials before I hear any intrepretations of revelation. Any effort to read revelation without first reading 2nd temple judaism end-time litterature is impossible to understand because you can make the text fit to what you want. An excellent commentary is Beale's in the NIGNTC set. Its pricey but its worth its weight in gold. You will see excellent scholarship done as opposed to a crappy internet site which any idiot can make and mp3s which any fool can put out to download.

I have a sovereign call of God on my life. Jesus is going to show up and there will be no more disputes if these things are of Him or not. I pray all are ready for such a visitation. The religious people of Jesus day, did not discern the day of their visitation. We must humble our hearts before God and seek for the truth, and we can know the truth, because He will show us!

In II Cor. 4:18 While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. :)

lol no problem, I sort of figured that, and hey, Titus is right after 2Timothy, the page probably turned over;) and you saw it wrong....I was just making sure, cause sometimes, people read things, and don't know where things are for themself, so they take others word for it. It's all good, we all make mistakes, God bless!
