I'm just wondering since I've been trying to become a stronger Christian lately, and it seems like I'm being attacked more often. and I'm tired of it, I know that Jesus gave us the ability to fight back with prayer, but how? I mean what words do I say?

I'm also curious, how do you tell the difference between demons attacking you and God breaking you down. I mean God hasn't ever broken me down before, so I wouldn't know what it's like.

Btw, I think I'm being attacked though fear(about my health), depression(lack of friends that are girls, and lack of girlfriend), doubt(God not coming to my rescue when I really need his help the most).

Yeah, you will find as you stick out more and more as a faithful christian... Satan will notice you more and so be prepared for more persecution and trials that test your faith..

But there are some very reassuring things --

firstly.. if you have entrusted your salvation with Jesus.. you have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside you. What this means is that a demon cannot co-habitat with the Holy Spirit in you.. you cannot be indwelled by those kind of spiritual forces, since the Holy Spirit- who is God is far far far more powerful and is inwelling inside ya. So that is the first encouragement..

second.. when you trip up and sin.. guilt is not from God.. only conviction. Guilt is related to shame and fear and anxiety and most times leads to more sinful behaviour.. and sometimes even worse than before.. convicition.. is the Holy Spirit tapping on your heart.. where you know that you are hurting the Holy Spirit.. and want to love Him.. so remember the sacrifice God has made for you, and use that to flee sin.

You have been freed from sin.. so why return to it? Is the common message Paul gives.

anxiety:

Phillipians 4:6-8 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

fear:

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

1Corinthians 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

Condemnation:

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 8:10-11 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

So what words do you say?

well meditate on these kind of scriptures.. think on them constantly.. right them on your heart.. and see what fruit comes of that :)
