Jesus is returning as a theif to the wicked only not to the righteous. The righteous will know when He is coming.

1st Thessalonians 5:2-4
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, bretheren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
You see that day will not overtake us '' the righteous'' unaware as a thief but only the unbelieving.
Luke 21:26-28
26 Mens hearts falling them for fear, and for looking after those thins that are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
When the tribulation is at it's worse we will know are redemption is drawing near, but the wicked will be going on about their lives.
Matthew 24:37-39
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving into marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came and took them all away, so shall the coming of the Son of man be.
Noah knew the flood was coming and prepared himself accordingly, but the wicked knew not and were destroyed unaware. So too, will we know Jesus is returning to destroy the wicked and we will be prepared accordingly, but the wicked will be taken off guard, To them he returns as a thief not to us.

Amen! We know by the seasons and signs of the time. It is very clear in scriptures Jesus comes after the tribulation!

If I tell you I am coming to your house the last day of the week you would not be looking for me to come the first day of the week or in the middle of the week but on the last day!

Ok so what's the date Watchmen? havn't got one yet.... ;-)
Not yet, but when we are in the midst of of the Tribulation we will know His coming is near even at the doors. Now I am not saying the Tribulational saints will know the day or hour but they will priobably be able to narrow it down within the month give or take a week or two. They may even be able to tell you the week of His coming give or take a day or two. Just like a doctor can give a ''due date'' yet they really do not know the day or hour of the babies arrivel, they can tell an aproximate date, so will the tribulational saints know the aproximate time of Christ's return

Matthew 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Mark 13:29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Ok, I undestand where you are comming from. I took a scripture out of context and applied it to the wrong group of people. Thanks for the correction.

Was Jesus including believers when he said no one knows the day nor hour?

Yes He was, but that does not negate the fact that believers will be anxiouasly awaiting the soon return of Christ knowing the time is very near during the Tribulation while the wicked will be caught totally off guard. Just like a pregnant woman, she may not know the day or hour her water will break , but around 9 month into her pregnancy she will know it could be any day. What she will not do is start expecting the baby to be born in the first month of her pregnancy. So although we now are not expecting Him any day 3+ years after the anti christ has declared himself God and started distributing the mark of the beast we will know His return is at the doors.

I think most of us has gotten off track when discerning the seasons. It's true that no one knows the day nor the hours as scriptures says, but later on Christ said to the believers, that we who believes, that day will not come as a suprise to us.

That's why this has become to confusing to alot of people.

I think we should all be prepared in the next few years when we see this peace treaty made by this current pope 16, which is the antichrist, which will last until 2018.

There are many more clues, which I can shed some light on, but I believe that Christ Jesus the Lord will return when the tribulation is over, and that's in 2018... so remember to not kill yourself in 2014/2015 :) (no pun intended)

People has predicted the end of the world since way before Christ. It still lives, there's no signs of it getting any worse than it's ever been and we still tether on the brink of extinction. Have faith and hope that you'll get to live a full life before the end comes instead of making up dates. Everyone else has been wrong throughout the history of Man, you will most likely be wrong as well.

2nd Peter 3
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

WOW, your post confirms this passage perfectly. What does that say about you?
