In what the Establishment calls the ‘Be-attitudes’, Matt5:1-10, Jesus is appealing to the NEEDY; Those with an eager desire to be comforted, filled, pure and right. They are the truly ‘Blessed’ ones to God because they shall be Refreshed, Supported and Strengthened in their spirit! That’s why Peter said in Acts 3:19: Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, Here is the ‘Recovery of breath’ the human spirit desperately needs to be renewed and revived from its ‘carnal’ form to the Spiritual realm.
That ‘better path’ (the Narrow Way, Mt7:13) is found through repentance and conversion….a full-blown rotation from ‘sickness’ to health! The Mind is now restored to: love and obedience, wisdom and righteousness, purity and truth. You no longer require the use of psychotropic or recreational drugs, alcohol, physiological counseling, addiction programs or advice from the church. The answer is found in CHRIST!! The old man (body of sin) is dead and buried. The distorted passions and desires of the flesh are subdued. NOTHING short of this kind of Spiritual transformation can save a person from the pangs of hell itself and from the depths of Satan inside some religious establishment here on earth.
The religious establishment offers only misery and bondage to the suffering masses struggling to find a purpose for life. They go from teacher to teacher, program to program in hope of uncovering some ‘magic’ cure for their compulsions. But every so-called solution only exchanges one addiction for another just as dreadful. It’s a vicious cycle that only creates a further desire for escape. Therefore they sink deeper and deeper into the abyss of final defeat and are given over to a fully debased mind that can no longer see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Some carry their addictions to the ultimate outcome of death and final perdition. Others go on for years destroying everything around them spreading their misery in a life long path of ruin. Regretfully millions inside the church systems have NEVER heard that there is a Way of Escape in the True and living God. They are content with the current state of affairs and not interested in hearing about something that requires a great deal of effort to obtain. Neglecting so Great a Salvation is trampling His precious Blood intended to Purge us from the corruption of sin!
Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will? Heb2:1-4
See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, Heb12:25
Alas ‘they know not what they do’ but they will not escape the Judgment of God (Rom2:1-2) for He has stretched forth His mighty hand to offer them the deliverance they seek and they have refused Him time and again. They have Mocked His great salvation by turning it into a license to sin with a disingenuous repeat after me prayer that feels good on the outside but does nothing to change the condition of the heart. God is patient and longsuffering with man (as His Word proves) He is not willing any perish and takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. (2Pet3:9, 1Tim2:4, Ezk18:32) But there is a threshold to His tolerance. The Preachers are crying ‘Peace, Peace’ (Jer6:14, 8:11) God is issuing His Final Call:
How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge. Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you. Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded, Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke,I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, When your terror comes like a storm, And your destruction comes like a whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you. Proverbes1:22-27
There will be no end time reprieve for the slothful. Those who place their hope in the thief on the Cross or a phony death bed confession will find no escape in the empty words of their pastors. The Church System may be able to drown out the cries of the damned with their revelry, but soon they will be joining them in their eternal habitations. (Lk16:9-11) The prophetic word is made more sure in our present generation as a light that shines in a dark place. (2Pet1:19) Mankind (religious or not) is WITHOUT Excuse and stands naked before the living God! (Rom1:20, 2:14-16, Rev3:17) The time is NOW for a Nineveh style Repentance. (Jonah3:5-10) Although I fear MANY will remain on the wide road to destruction loving the lies and refusing the out stretched hand of Christ.

In times past I have made several attempts to infiltrate the church system and awaken some to the danger they are under. Although I can see now the futility of such actions given the fact church leadership is wholly opposed to the truth. Still my heart goes out to the simple minded people with the sincerest of intentions sitting in there being flattered (or shall I say merchandised!) by the smooth sounding words of their pastors. Surly ‘they know not what they do’, but that doesn’t excuse them from their responsibility before God to know His truth and do it.
Paul said in Rom16:18 : ‘For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.
The word ‘simple’ in this passage means: without guile or fraud, harmless and free from guilt. We have all known these kinds of people and unfortunately many of them get caught up in the church systems believing they are doing good works for the Lord by their loyal attendance and support. I can’t help but wonder however had these kinds of people (so open to the truth) been exposed to the true Narrow Way, real Repentance and faith, heart purity and freedom from sin, would they be in Safe haven today?
The Truth has a certain ring to it that resonates in the heart. As the Parable of the Sower points out, the Seed that fell on the good ground represented a ‘noble (honest) and good heart’ where it was accepted, rooted and then produced a result. Lk8:15. It’s like the ‘Poor in spirit’ Mt5:3, Christ spoke of, who are lowly, afflicted, and destitute of worldly wealth. (or just plain sick and tired of the empty things of life) These are the sorts that respond to Christ’s Message; Never the high and mighty, the prideful intellectuals, rich and powerful or stiff necked elite.
Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? James2:5
A person can certainly have their conscience seared (1Tim4:1) or be given over to strong delusion. (2Thess2:10) It’s always a constant danger to anyone sitting under the System. But what of those so ignorant of true spiritual matters they sit there like dumb dogs who forgot how to bark? Could they be persuaded in time if the truth were permitted in their midst? I’ve personally seen these types of people convicted by the Holy Spirit when someone spoke words of truth to them. They KNEW deep down that it was the truth! They were drawn to it and wanted more. BUT they were mired in the System and just didn’t know how they could come out of it!
What would have saved them: (that nags on my mind) was it Time or Inclination? The Noble or ‘honest’ heart didn’t linger among the thorny, stony people and wait for some magic feeling to come. It responded immediately and put down roots. The fallow ground was broken and the digging began. Is this the difference between those who are ‘inclined’ to listen and those that carry through to obedience? It must be, but how I wish the True Word could be spoken to the deceived masses blindly following the lie and find out how many might respond and be saved.
