I see some replies that are against giving money for the reason of enabling them. If a person wants to buy cigs, drugs, or alchohol with money, is it love to say no for that reason? If a person wants to buy designer clothes, a new car, and luxuries or conveniences, is it love to say no for that reason? God trusts us with money, even though He knows at times we are being enabled to do selfish things with it. Who is innocent of using money for selfish reasons? I have yet to meet anyone but God who is not guilty of this at some point in their life. If somebody needs money (for whatever reason, they say they need it), then for whatever reason they need it, I will give when it is asked of me as long as I have money to give. Love is no respector of persons. To judge a person unworthy of money because you assume negitively, is wrong, because:
1Co 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
1Co 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1Co 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
1Co 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Mat 5:42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
If they want to borrow money specifically, the example of real love is to give.
