Well, America has a big impact of the countries around us, especially Canada. Not saying we are the big shot, the hot stuff. But seems like the Lord has greatly blessed us, especially for our obedience. We cannot be saved by works, but we sure are blessed for them, its obedience. So since we could be this nation that is literally a city on a hill, which in fact we believers are a city on a hill, not saying that other countries arent. But America is well known all over the globe for alot of good and bad things, blessing of God also. So its like one of the leaders (America) is a hypocrite of its own teachings to its own followers (the rest of the world that observe us).
i'm sure america was blessed early on because she was primarily a nation of christians (not "a christian nation", as they say), who was kind to the strangers in her midst (the barbarism of slavery not withstanding) - the Constitution facilitated that for a long time.
but....protestants and other christian groups did not put aside their differences with the catholic church on issues such as indecency coming out of Hollywood; strong/large family values the RC held to for a long time....other like things.
it's been downhill ever since. for all of us.
the entertainment industry/corporate media; usury; replacement of the Constitutional Republic by the artificial creation Liberal Demoracy; and dispensational theology i believe have contributed to america's ruin.

Looking from an outsiders point of view, America never was a holy nation, not since I became a Christian anyway. I think it must be the programing that Americans get from when they are young you know the nationalist thing most countries push in schools and games flag flag flag. You know I do not usually go to videos or websites because I cannot have interactive access, however because you, Lois, were moved by the video I decided to watch and listen to it until I found myslef questioning its contents. I watched it to the end.
It is so refreshing to hear vocalized what has been suspected for so many years. It is so refreshing to hear the Word taught with such understanding and fervor.

I think what the man in this video is trying to get about America being a holy nation, a city on a hill, we are one of the most influential countries that exist worldwide. Literally alot of countries try to imitate us in their culture, especially the younger generation of other countries. And other countries look to us in envy and jealously and hate. We stand out big time, especially since we also carry the so called "Faith" we so to speak to have. Those countries out there, and i know because iv been outside of the united states, they are trying to be American like with imitating the america culture and style and way of living. They actually want to be like us. We do stand out, so i pretty much agree with this man also about us sicking out like a sour thumb. I just studied earlier in the past recently that American history with slavery actually help inspire Hitler to treat the jewish people the way he did, he actually studied our history to find out what we did to our own people.
