When I made reference to Christians being killed by Nazis, I was referring to the fact that Christians were indeed killed in those countries which Germany invaded. On the homefront, Germany violated a treaty it had just made with the Vatican that ensured the rights of Catholics to live as they needed to. We could argue if Germany had a right to do so for what they believed was their own national security, but that wasn't the main point I was trying to make (and I don't want to argue about it anyhow). In Soviet countries, particularly after the war under communism, the Soviets were very harsh towards the largest Christian denominations in their territories as they tried to build a Godless state in the name of rationalism...that largest group of Christians being the Orthodox. Poland is it's whole own story of sadness. It got a nice double whammy from the Nazis and then the Soviets post-War. I know a few of people who can tell me stories from their youth when they had to flee their homelands. One is Polish and another is from Slovenia. It wasn't a great time in those countries under Hitler/Nazis or Stalin/Soviets.

Well...one of them did take the time to hijack a German tank and run it into a lake...haha good for him.

Actually through out history very few believed it wa sthe last days. As a whole only the first generation church, and this generation have truly believed we are in the last of the last days.
The word says that when we see Israel become a nation in a day, which it did, in 1948, it says this generation shall not pass without the second coming of the Lord. That means people born in 1948 are 61 years old now, so how long do you think, before this generation passes away?

I believe that we all know within our hearts the truth. It is simply the faith to accept, the hope to endure and the Love to see Our Lord Jesus's Glory with Joy. God bless, pickles

Well not because they were Christian, Nazi's did not persecute and kill Christians for being Christian as opposed to Communist Russia and Marxists who did indeed persecute, imprison, torture and murder Christians for nothing but the fact that they were Christian, especially in the Eastern Block countries of Europe after WWII.

I think as we look to the scripture for the answers it relates the end times as birth pangs of a woman in travail. If we look where we are as people of the world then there are many signs all around us. not going to dive too deep into it since it could take up a lot of space but we need to look at what signs we are to look for. pestilence and famine...1 of 3 people in africa carry the aids virus and not to mention what the ratio is worldwide. look at the poor countries of the world where adults and children are dying every day from some form of starvation. Wars.... o.k. as hard as it is to focus just on the u.s. look elsewhere in the world as well hehe. Lets just say that since the 1900's only 109 years ago mind you more people have died in wars than people that lived in the day of jesus. There are several more but these are just a few.

that, "this generation shall not pass away" verse has been used by every single generation since that verse was written, taken to mean that, they were the last generation. every single generation since then has believed they were the last generation, for this reason, or that, for this scripture or because that this or that just happened in the middle east, signs and symbols. wars, there have always been wars somewhere, plagues, there have always been plagues, somewhere. this has been going on for several thousand years. events in the middle east, there have always been events in the middle east, it is a hotspot. ppl seem to forget, that all those generations have come and gone, and they were completely wrong, they were not the last generation. it is merely amusing to watch ppl still scurrying around, pointing to this verse or that, pointing out this event or that, saying, this proves it, were the last generation. we will come and go, and the next generation will do the same thing.

My point is that the Bible does point to a time when Christ is coming back, it says that the generation that sees Israel become a nation in a day, which was in 1948 that Israel became a nation, will not pass without the second coming of the Lord. If you look at when people die and a generation changes over to the next, people born in 1948 are now 61. So how long before these 61 year all get old and die, the word says they shall not pass without the second coming!

We are looking for Him just like when He came the first time. The Jews knew it was time, they all knew He was to come!

I say look to the east for Your King is coming!

I agree we are in the very last of the last days.
