Adam was the first man that God created from the dust of the Earth. When Adam sinned the "dust" he was made from was also cursed. Who is to say God didnt carry on making more people from the dust of the ground?.....just a thought.
And who is to say He did. It is safer to stick to what is revealed than to fall into the swamp of speculation.

Trukin, I did not read all the posts but God did say this in His Word....
Genesis 5:4... And the days of Adam AFTER he had begotten Seth were eight hudred and thirty years: and he begat sons and daughters: .... So I get from this that Adam had other sons and daughters that were NEVER mentioned in the Bible.

And after the flood of Noah, at least there were now three couples to start the new EARTH POPULATION... And if you add Noah and his wife FOUR....

But the urgency of having children in the old days was MOST evident by the two daughters of Lot. Lot had two daughters, and Lot went to his two sons in law, and also told them to flee with them from Sodom. But as we know only Lot, his wife and the two daughters left the city in time. Then His wife also disobeued and she was no more.... but then the two duagters shocked me... They came together and made their father drunk, and then they BOTH thought to "preserve the seed of their father". So they went and "lie" with him and they both were with child by LOT! Moab was the one boy, and the other was Benammi.. They became big nations... Moabites and Ammon....

I hope you know how important it was that a first born boy was to carry on the "SEED OF THE FATHER". And it is also reflected in the BORN OF GOD... in our salvation.... We also has to be the SEED OF GOD! 1 John 3.

Enjoy the Word of God my friend, and I hope God REVEALS much to you.... Like Adam had MANY sons and daughters... And that the SEED of God REMAINETH in ALL who is BORN OF GOD!

And what was revealed? If was ALL revealed this topic of convo wouldnt have begun. Is it that everyone else is speculating? Trying to fill in the missing gaps? Like where did Cains wife come from? Everyone else is speculating from the little they know so I thought I would join in :) Sorry if my thoughts on speculating where as not as understandable of everyone elses. But then again I always do think outside the box on these things. God gives us what we need to know regarding our salvation and the history behind it but there are many missing blanks that God does not talk about and people speculate from. I actualy love the fact God just throws in stuff that we have no idea about, like the Nephalim. He gives us one line, doesnt expand, doesnt explain. We dont need to know.....but its good to speculate.

IF Adam wasn't the first man then quit pretending the bible is true and that you believe it
I do believe what is actually within the Book. I can't, however, always rely on what is taught by man.

Both Jesus and Paul referred to Adam as being the first man. If not Adam, who?? What was his name and where in God's Book do you come up with your invention?
1Cr 15:45 KJV - And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [was made] a quickening spirit.
I believe you are referring to this verse. This refers to the type of man. The first man was before the Cross, the last is after the Cross.
Adam was the first to be given a "LIVING" soul.

Gen 2:7 KJV - And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (active awareness)
Gen 2:15 KJV - And the LORD God took the man (soul), and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Cain was sent away from Eden where others lived. Adam was not the first man. There were others, which is why he was afraid of dying. He had seen someone die.

Yes, his brother Able.
"He" is in reference to Adam, not Cain.

I realize that they (adam and eve) had sons AND daughters. i just find it peculiar that their very first born daughter wasnt named.....buyt yes, it kinda shocked me about Lot's daughters too

Gen 4:12 KJV - When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
Gen 4:14 KJV - Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, [that] every one that findeth me shall slay me.
Gen 4:16 KJV - And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

Cain was sent away from Eden where others lived. Adam was not the first man. There were others, which is why he was afraid of dying. He had seen someone die.
God said "let us create man in our own image" It goes on to say that he created Adam from the dust of the ground.

If you do the math from Adam and Eve there could have easily been around 7 million inhabitants on the earth by the time Adam died. There were thousands before Cain left for Nod. This is NOT rocket science.

Look how much our own country has grown in just a little over 200 years~! What's so hard about this.

It is theses types of watered down and whimsical answers to arguments that give cause to unbelievers to shy away from Christianity. Rather we should only give logical, rational and biblical answers...or none at all.

I have to agree with you on that. The notion that Adam was the first man is watered down. The thought that Adam was even in a physical form in the garden is almost as obscure.

Let me ask you ...do you honestly believe that God was formed? And, if he was, that he was formed from the dust of the earth?

The man and the woman were removed from the GARDEN of Eden. Not Eden.
Adam was told he would die if he ate of the fruit. Why did Adam not eat of the fruit? He knew what it meant to die.
yes God did say that he would die but it did not say when. read the bible and you'll find what you need don't put things if you haven't read the bible through.
