Bandito how do two or three gather IN HIS NAME... Because God also says that He does not hear the prayer of a sinner but of those that DOES HIS WORD... So I reckon if God does not hear a single sinner He also would not hear the prayer of 10 000 sinners gathered together... I think to gather IN HIS NAME, is people living in HIS will that gathers...
I hadn't thought of that! Thank you. God says we can pray amiss, and some people he doesn't hear. But I think God is always listening for true prayer, and like the father welcoming the prodigal son, He blesses those who truly pray to Him. We have only to be sure we pray to our Father, in the Lord's prayer it spells out who God is. Then get ourselves all clean by asking forgiveness so nothing stands between us and God. Then anything we ask that fits within the circle of His will, and His will is always for our good. I like when God says "the land of milk and honey".
