In reading the scriptures, I often see satan refured to as the accuser.
This has caused me to consider so much when one sees theirself or another as less, or a failier.

I also have wondered that Jesus said I do not come to condemn the world, but to save it!

Now, Im not speaking to the correction we are called to in scripture here, but the accusations and judgements that bring down, destroy, steal our rest in Jesus.

Jesus said, the theif comes to steal, kill and destroy.

I do wonder that we should consider our words when we speak to another, even ourselves when it comes to what is seen as failiur, condemnation, accusing.

I was raised to look to the sin, and not judge the person.
Speak to the wrong, yet help the one doing the wrong.
With all the debate about when to judge and what is judgement?
Maby what defines what we are asked to do and not to, is accusing ?

God bless

I loved this part, this can seperete the men from the boys....."Speak to the wrong, yet help the one doing the wrong.":p
Or i spose theres the option of telling them there a heretic and a child of the devil and drop them from your friends list.

Ya theres a great lesson in the Old Testament where Gods people were doing satans work for him.
And the divisions that are made for wrong doctrine can never be as good as just patiently teaching.
How many years did the disciples walk with Jesus? How many times did he give them the boot?
Nice thread Pickles!
Lord teach us to love!

The Hebrew word "Satan" means accuser. (The word Satan in English is the Hebrew word). Greek "diabolos" means to "hurl across", impying accustions are being hurled like fiery darts. This where we get our words, devil, diabolical, etc.
