During my walk in faith, and listening to Toby mac's song take my show. I have learned how a lot of times, I will be trying to go through the day on my own power. Whether it be seeking god, or trying to obtain a closer relationship with him, or just going through the day not even knowing what it is i am searching for, I sometimes Realize i just have to give god control. Earlier in my faith if you told me to just let god take my show i would be afraid to, but now i actually will get to the point where i beg him to take my show. Because i know he can do so much better with my day and my life than i could. So have you ask god to take control of your life? Are going to let him do whatever it is he wants with your day? with your family? with your money? Do you have the strength to let go?

i don't ask Him to take control, He already is in control...I ask Him to continually remind me of that fact.

It really doesn’t matter how people react to your posts, it matters if you are helping people think through God’s word. If they personally attack then they are not listening to God, for God would never have people attack each other. We need and want your posts.

Now, back to letting God have control. That is the problem with us new covenant Christians,we talk a good talk but lots of times we don’t give each other the way to walk our talk. Everyone goes on and on about how we have the spirit to replace the law, but saying “God you do it” isn’t going to cut it. Jobs have to be gone to, dishes washed.

It seems to me we are back to the law. We have received the spirit, and the spirit leads us back to the law. A child who had never heard a word of God, and one day did hear and gave himself to God so he received the HS, would still need the word to know how to go, where the spirit is leading. When God is in control God gives us understanding of His word, and in His word are minute instructions on how to follow the spirit.

In Hebrews it says that the law is old and passed away. That is scripture that says don’t listen to scripture, unless we open up our minds to understand. Scripture never wipes out scripture, it builds, amends, completes, but God doesn’t say don’t listen to God. I think it means that the law (sin kills) as rules without the spirit is gone, we are given the spirit.

So. If we let go and let God, we go by God’s direction with absolute faith in the goodness of that. We have the Holy Spirit to help us do that. The Holy Spirit leads us to God’s directions for living this life. Then we can let go because we are following God.

I have been starting very morning I wake up with this exact thought. I ask god to guide me and the day. I leave it in his hands. Simply letting go is allowing me to take on each day and get through any troubles that I face.

With how much we think we know: learning from the internet, tv, and news. Its hard for us to let go and I'm now learning how.. I notice that God is always with me and helps me see and learn and understand things. While I'm at work I try to meditate on His word and I learn a lot that way and I don't feel so far away. I'm excited because this past year I've grown so much than ever before. :)

I think I remember what you said. I don't think those two up top were trolling or not Christians. I don't think they were on a phone either.
