in fact this is most of the reason that God flooded the earth. other than mans sin abounded at that time also.
actually the bible says absolutely -nothing- about God flooding the earth because of genetics...the -only- reason the bible gives for God flooding the earth was because of human wickedness and unbelief...

another thing...the bible does not say anywhere that the nephilim were giants...-some- were giants...specifically the ones after the flood...but it is bad reasoning to assume that this proves that -all- nephilim must have been giants...

as it turns out...the king james version's translation of nephilim as 'giants' is just a deferment to the greek septuagint's translation of nephilim as 'gigantes'...which in turn was influenced by ancient pagan notions of superhuman demigods...

at its core this is really just a pagan notion...

im trying to understand what relevance this has to anything...
it factors into weird theories that basically have no practical use except to freak people out...the christian equivalent of 'ghost stories'

actually trying to understand what every portion of the bible is saying can only give you a better understanding of the Biblical work, and thus a better comprehension of the relationship of God and Man.

so yeah.

now we know where those fallen angels came from. it wasn't satan at the time, at least genesis didn't mention it.

these are the angels who are bound in chains till the judgement.

as seen in jude

Jud 1:1 KJV - Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, [and] called:
Jud 1:2 KJV - Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
Jud 1:3 KJV - Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Jud 1:4 KJV - For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jud 1:5 KJV - I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
Jud 1:6 KJV - And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Jud 1:7 KJV - Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Jud 1:8 KJV - Likewise also these [filthy] dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
Jud 1:9 KJV - Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
Jud 1:10 KJV - But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
Jud 1:11 KJV - Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
Jud 1:12 KJV - These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds [they are] without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
Jud 1:13 KJV - Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
Jud 1:14 KJV - And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
Jud 1:15 KJV - To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Jud 1:16 KJV - These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling [words], having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
Jud 1:17 KJV - But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Jud 1:18 KJV - How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
Jud 1:19 KJV - These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
Jud 1:20 KJV - But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
Jud 1:21 KJV - Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jud 1:22 KJV - And of some have compassion, making a difference:
Jud 1:23 KJV - And others save with fear, pulling [them] out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Jud 1:24 KJV - Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
Jud 1:25 KJV - To the only wise God our Saviour, [be] glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

the original text of genesis was hebrew...not greek...

'nephilim' in hebrew does not mean 'giants'...the septuagint translators changed the meaning when they chose to translate nephilim as 'gigantes'...

and like i said before this decision...along with many other decisions made by the septuagint translators...was influenced by pagan notions...which were widespread all over the hellenized world...including in alexandria where the septuagint translators did their work...

jude is talking about the original fall of satan's angels...i don't know why some people insist on believing that jude was talking about something else...

there was only one fall of evil angels...the bible nowhere indicates that there were two or three fallings of various groups of angels...

Revelation 12 (Blue Letter Bible: KJV - King James Version)

Rev 12:1 KJV - And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
Rev 12:2 KJV - And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
Rev 12:3 KJV - And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
Rev 12:4 KJV - And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
Rev 12:5 KJV - And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and [to] his throne.
Rev 12:6 KJV - And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days.
Rev 12:7 KJV - And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

Rev 12:8 KJV - And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Rev 12:9 KJV - And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Rev 12:10 KJV - And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Rev 12:11 KJV - And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Rev 12:12 KJV - Therefore rejoice, [ye] heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Rev 12:13 KJV - And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man [child].
Rev 12:14 KJV - And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
Rev 12:15 KJV - And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
Rev 12:16 KJV - And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
Rev 12:17 KJV - And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

see satan is not bound in hell yet.
this is a lie

that is why he can go to heaven and discuss job with God.

this is why Jesus is tempted by him in the dessert on earth.

the angels that fell in the early days of man were not satan and his angels. it was azasel.
they came to mount Hermon see here.

so rachel what are you in disagreement with?

you don't think that this is where the Giants in the Bible came from, a Man and Angel procreation?

nobody said satan is trapped in hell...though it might be interesting to hear you try to explain why you think you know he is not...

there is no angel called 'azazel' in the bible...you got that from some other literature...

and none of the passages listed in the link you provided say anything that would associate mount hermon with fallen angels or nephilim...

i couldn't agree or disagree with anything in that post because i couldn't even figure out what you were trying to say...

but no i don't believe the various giants in the bible came from angels and humans interbreeding...there is nothing at all in the bible to suggest that...

You mentioned "bound"

Does bound literally mean "held and cannot move" or can it mean "limited or restricted"

Could "bound" mean he is restricted? Doesn't have the same abilities he used to?

actually you just didn't read the Mount Hermon search and therefore are ignoring my points.

so i will show you.

Jos 13:10 KJV - And all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;
Jos 13:11 KJV - And Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah;
Jos 13:12 KJV - All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out.

whats that say to ya?

I will find azazel in the Bible for you. he did come here and I have read it, but lets start with that. The name is like asaiel or spelled differently but itdoes say it.

Og is a giant king from the descendants of the Angel and Man procreation what do you think of that?
