Hi,

Last August, a boy, at my age, committed suicide.
He was a member of my church.
He was since March/April last year, very Depressive, he took a medicin: "Anti-Depressivia"
But that made him very slow.
So he didn't took it anymore.
On the Internet he bought Cafeïne-pills
That make him veel happier and faster.
The main problem was that he had an social-phobia, he was afraid to contact with people, so he doesn't went to the Supermarket, doesn't pick up the phone, doesn't answer emails etc.
This year, He had to do grade retention.
All of this, he decide to take an overdose of the caffeïne pills, he died 4 hours later.
It's an very tragic story,
His parents, en 2 little sisters are very puzzled, but they think he is in Heaven.

My problem:
The bible is very clear: Thou shalt not kill.
So, he should go to the Hell.
I don't know!
What do you think about it?

Greets,

the bible also says you shall not lie, you shall not envy... and so on... and who hasn't done that?

The whole point of the blood of Christ is to clean us from sin! we are free from sin in Gods eeye as soon as we accept Jesus!

as has been said before, the only unforgivable sin is blaspheming the holy spirit

#1 That is not the only unforgiven sin.
#2 If you lie or steal you can repent of those sins, if you murder yourself unrepentantly you will not be forgiven of your murder.

What does this discussion matter? The fate of the dead are obviously 100% in the hands of God, for Him to send them wheresoever He wills....but this distraction to cause us people to judge the fate of others is a wile of the enemy...

Worry about your own salvation if you are not saved....and if saved, persevere in this...and do not worry about something that cannot now be changed...there are no amount of indulgences that could be purchased to rescue him if He is in or going to be hell, and if Christ's mercy is given him than nothing can condemn him...so as I said it is all in Christ's hands.

The Lord be with you

My opinion is that the guy had a major malfunction in his head. He wasn't capable of making rational decisions. Given that, I'd like to think God will take it in to consideration.

We are not told for sure what happens to suicide VICTIMS but I like to think our God is smart enough to make wise decisions concerning them. It's hard for some of us to deal with life . ..

i think i agree with watchmen..i dont think a true christian will commit suicide and i dont think God makes exceptions for the disabeled..he might be more sensitive with them but i dont think he would go so far to where he says it is ok for them to commit suicide because of their condition.
i might be wrong though, this is just my personal opinion.only God knows.

God bless

#1 Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness,

#2 Unforgiveness ''The parable of the unforgiving servant in
Matthew ''6:23-35''
Matthew 6
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

#3 Unbelief
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Hebrews 3
18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

#4 Apostasy
Hebrews 6
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Now for our discussion #5 Unrepentance.
Luke 13
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Revelation 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

An unrepentant murder (even if it yourself whom you murdered) will not inherate the Kingdom.

Side note: to be fair unforgivness, unbelief, and unrepentance is something they we can come out of we can believe, repent, and forgive, and be forgiving of our other sins such as murder, theift ect... However that still leaves not only balsphemy of the Holy Spirit and Apostasy.

My Lord, My God is love. That boy is in heaven. Know that. Why would a God of love take revenge on a hurting child?

Why would a God of justice allow a murderer into Heaven?

He would let a repenter into heaven. Many murderers will be heaven. Kinda like Saul who turned to Paul and wrote most of the new testament for us.

I guess you have time to repent before you die and you are really repentant then you could sqeeze by, but i do not think that is the norm with suicide perpetrators.

For a person to be able to truely know God they would have to be in their right mind. God understand when someone is sick.. He came to earth for the sick and the lost. Like how people baptize their babies and we know that means nothing because the bible says on must repent and confess Jesus and then be baptized in much water. God knows a persons heart. They may not had have time enough in their lives to be able to truley know God yet. Or their mind was so sick they couldn't think right. God loves people watchman. The ones going to hell are the ones who hate God or the ones who pretend their Gods but never loved him in their hearts. God bless you

My daughters health and mental state make every day a challange against sucide. She has had 5 unsucessful tries. She knows Jesus and is still growing in her faith. But no one but Our Lord Jesus knows her heart. I have watched her give encouragement to many over the years. I see her battleing this as if watching another battle cancer. It is an illness that can consume. At one time I saw diffferently on this issue. I thank that Our Lord God opened my eyes on this. I have learned to be very carefull now about judgement. You never know what is held for you in your future. I do know the Grace of Our Lord Jesus is ever present and always his gift in all things. God bless, pickles

Greets,
The spirits of melancholia are more present in this modern world than any time in history, there are many evil chemicals that are being released into our food and water supplies, these chemical compounds or pharamacies are sorcery, they open pathways to the spirit world that allow more and more evil spirits into our bodies, some spirits are too powerful and they overcome the human which can lead to self mutilation and suicide, it is very common these days and will get worse, progressively worse, it is not easy to defeat a supernatural enemy hell bent on your destruction, "will not the Judge of all the earth do right", if you are possessed than you are not fully in control, the judge will look at those who enabled the release of the spirits knowing the evil fate that awaited those whom were possessed, not their fault, those possessed, it can happen to anyone especially the innocent and unsuspecting, it's not a crime on their part.
