This question was being discussed: Is the USA still a “God-fearing” nation?

[The Lord answered] Many yet fear Me, even the wicked deep within, yet just a very few have any love for God in their hearts, says The Lord. For this nation is most perverse; even in their fear of The Lord is their perversion of My image clearly seen. Thus I tell you, I have spit them out already. Behold, even the earth shall vomit them out, for they have greatly defiled the land... A multitude of dry branches broken off, which shall by no means be grafted in again, until they fall hard upon their faces, crying out, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of The Lord!”

Behold, this nation plants seeds of perversion, without ceasing! They cultivate abominations and reap sin all day long, and into the night they revel in all their uncleanness! And when I look down upon this nation, I see Sodom bursting forth and Gomorrah overtaking the land! And when I peer deeper still, I see one nation in agreement, a people in love with themselves, a nation which loves its harlotries more than God!... A very adulterous people! A most wicked generation!... BEHOLD! EVEN A WHOLE NATION OF MURDERERS IS BEFORE MY EYES!

Therefore I am come down to tread, until every wicked person is crushed beneath My feet and every evil man in authority dies a grievous death in this land! For I must make room.

Behold, I shall purge this great and awful vineyard...

I shall uproot and destroy, until that which was lost is found
And that which was hidden is brought out into the open...

Until that which I have searched for is seen, once again,
And it too is removed and taken...

I don’t think the US was ever a “God-fearing” nation, and if it was I missed it

James 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

Just full of condemnation, no encouragement whatsoever in any shape or form, just have a look at the Letters in Revelation chapters 2 & 3 and see that the Love of Christ, even for the disobedient and sinful flows out to them with a balance of not only their true state, but also wonderful promises for the repentant, so, I find it hard to see how this prophecy is from the Lord Jesus...

Are you serious? The Lord talked to a Timothy online? That is very strange. God only speaks to us today through His word. The Bible is what we go by and it says if man ADD to or TAKE away let him be anathema.

The Bible is not the Word of God?

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." 1 Tim. 3:16-17

My big objection to this post is that this is an international forum. You only have to scroll for a minute in any thread to see the flags of many nations, around the world.

Why are we not debating whether China is a Christian nation, or Argentina, or Canada? The US is not the center of the world any more, sorry to inform you. The debt of the US alone is enough reason for that.

I do think there are many godly people in the US, and around the world. But it does seem like the harvest is not great in the western nations.

This prophecy is extra-biblical and personally I do not even understand what the point of it is. Why not encourage people to share the gospel, instead of condemning them?

The church today, is those who believe in Jesus. There is no nation that inherits the rights once given to Israel. She was chosen by God, did not obey, and were scattered. But, we still have Jesus the Messiah from the branch of Jesse, the son of David, and that is how we are all bound together.

Not by nationalistic ties. But by the blood of the Lamb!

When America enslaved the lost tribes of Israel here in this land, they already set their fate. But they had to live out their rule just as Egypt, Babylon and all the other nations did. America was doomed from the first laying of stones.

This post is not condemning. It is a warning of the impending judgment that comes to the nation. It is for the people specifically of that nation.

This message does encourage me. It encourages me to further separate myself from the wickedness of this nation and to seek God's will concerning this since I currently reside in the U.S..

And yes, I agree with you that Israel (those that believe on Christ Jesus) are scattered throughout the earth just as God said and is written in the old testament. Also remember that God promised to gather His people together once again for the day of the Lord. Joel, Zephaniah, Zechariah, Matthew 13 (the gathering of the wheat) I am looking forward to that glorious day!

We have Indian and Filipino chat rooms and forum categories, does that mean they are the center of the world since they're singled out? Or is it just a special interest category for those INTERESTED and if you aren't, you just stay out.

You seem a bit angry about this post and a bit rude as well. Full of non-points and unfounded accusation. There's nothing wrong with a person making a post centered around their own country on an international forum, and it doesn't mean that person thinks his country is the center of the world. I don't think the USA ever was a God-fearing nation, to be honest. The world is under the sway of its prince, and always has been. When the white man brough Christianity to the Americas, it was never his intent to be Christ-like.
