No, hair coloring is not a sin, what basis did the pastor give for this?

I don't believe Error meant it in a mocking way, but in she's just find it difficult to believe. Personally, I think if you're convicted by it, don't do it. But I don't find anything sinful in colouring one's hair.

The Bible points to the fact that blonde hair is A sign of uncleanness, Exodus 13:30 "Then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall, even a leprosy upon the head or beard."

Except that 1) that's because it was used to diagnose leprosy by the priests and 2) it was unnatural to the Jews.

We are Gentiles (most of us), and are not saved by levitical law, but through Christ's sacrifice. The priesthood is no longer in the position to diagnose PHYSICAL contagions because 1) we have full time physicians and 2) Christ is our high priest and great physician.

I'd wager (although I can't say for certain) that it may be taught for the same reasons that some churches say that any cosmetics are sinful: they see it as a sign of immodesty and vanity.

(Personally, I don't feel that way. Romans 14 says we have all liberty... But Paul also says that if someone else feels convicted, then honour their conviction.)

So what exactly is a sinful color? I should probably not use it when i color my pictures right?
You've seen it; punk rockers, African Americans with platinum blonde hair, That weird looking basketball player (can't remember his name) Just Joking Around Folks!
I can't believe someone started this foolish thread to begin with.

I highly doubt god looks at physical appearance, He searches the heart not our color or looks. I always wear punk like clothes yet god loves me the same as wearing church clotes. My hair is blonde yet is not unclean. Also i don't think this is a foolish thread, it was just an honest question.

John in Revelation describes Jesus having platinum blonde hair "His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow,"

If like you say, "I highly doubt god looks at physical appearance, He searches the heart not our color or looks." .then I don't understand the contradiction in your thought process. If it doesn't matter to God, it must be foolishness.

John in Revelation describes Jesus having platinum blonde hair "His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow,"
it also says this " and His eyes were like a flame of fire; 15 and His feet were like burnished bronze, when it has been caused to glow in a furnace"

So do you also think he had blonde hair, eyes that were of fire, and feet made of bronze... lol

That's my point, looks mean nothing to god, he cares what is in your heart. If there was gold jewel encrusted cup that was clean and beautiful outside but filthy inside would you drink from it?

Please not add to the Bible. It clearly said white, not a mixture of Blonde.
