And So all Israel shall be saved !

Rom 11:26

26And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

The Phrase all Israel does not mean all of the ethnic jewish nation of Israel. Remember Paul said in Rom 9:6

6Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

But it does mean all of the redeemed of the New Covenant age. The word SO is a conclusive word from the preceding verses when paul had explained who it is that makes up Israel or Israel of God. He did this by the olive tree analogy [ Rom 11:16-24], and after doing that, He brings the matter to its climax by stating " And So" that is the manner I just Illustrated with the Olive Trees, all Israel shall be saved; which is basically the gathering together of all Abraham's children of which He was made a Father of in every nation here Gen 17:5

5Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

Not a Natural Father, but a Spiritual Father, Children of Faith. Rom 4:11-17

11And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:

12And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.

13For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

14For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:

15Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

16Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

17(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Thats why we have scriptures Like Jn 10:16

16And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Jn 11:51-52

51And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;

52And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God [or Children of Abraham] that were scattered abroad.

These two scriptures confirm Rom 4:11,12 that He [Abraham] was the Father of not only the believing circumcision [jews] but also the believing uncircumcision [gentiles]

Those were the other sheep I have that were not of the Jewish fold..and what Paul means by the grafting in of the wild branches into the good olive tree 106

Your right to a point sved, Paul was not speaking at all, of any of the current ethnic Jewish State in Israel! He was speaking mainly of the faithful dead of Israel in Adam, who were in Sheol in 'Abraham's Bosom'! And! Of course, the dead in Christ Jesus up to then, and those who were yet to die in Christ of New Covenant Israel! This also would mean any Jews who were born again and grafted back into Covenant Israel.

But here, Paul is using the phrase, ...all Israel will be saved, mainly to of the faithful dead of Covenant Israel who were in Sheol, in who awaited their Messiah unto His resurrection!

Jesus' resurrection had already happened and they (those in Sheol) were awaiting their resurrection which was to shortly happen. This was of vital importance to Paul that people know that God would keep His promise to those in the Old Way in Adam; so those in the New Way in the 2nd Adam would not lose hope in their afflictions!

Bringing a first born unto the resurrection of the dead was a promise to Old Covenant Israel, it was not a promise to us in the New Covenant! If God cannot keep His promise to them, you have no hope of a resurrection! That was Paul's purpose time and again as he wrote of the resurrection in Christ Jesus.

Which one of you ever brought forth a first born unto the resurrection of the dead?????? None!!!
The first born of Old Covenant Israel was their promise of everlasting life!
The first born of the resurrection of the dead represented Jesus, or their Messiah that had not come yet!
The first born represented many people and not just himself,
Old Covenant Israel was sealed in these first born males unto eternal life!

So whether it was an Apostle like Paul or a prophet of the Old Testament who used the phrase,
'...all of Israel will be saved... in some form or other, they were speaking of their dead ancestors
who had passed on before them; and that One would come and take away the sin of Jacob..
Who was Christ Jesus!

So to say, Paul was not speaking of New Covenant Israel when he used the other phrase,
the Israel of God! Is to make God and His Lamb liars. Because the Church of New Covenant Israel is built upon the fulfilled promises, between God and those faithful in the Old Way in Adam. Unto our resurrection in Christ Jesus, Who has already been resurrected!

There is no other Covenant Israel except those who are covenant with God!!! In real time!
Which is the Church of New Covenant Israel!
just some of my thoughts

If anyone has any difficulty in believing the Word, that is what the Israel of God is, here is a simple deductive approach in understanding the response.

God will bring down the capital of His Israel, that being the New Jerusalem, in His time, and on His Day. Those who believe Him are the citizens, and the King is Yeshua Who is also the Father (Isaiah 9:6), and He is also the Holy Spirit (Isaiah 9:6).

Now, are you able to understand just what is the Israel of God. There will be resurrected citizens there from all nations, including Jews. Love your fellow man, in this manner you may be able to lead many to the Israel of God. Praise God, amen.

And herein lies the (your) problem. You believe that the Jews rejection of their Messiah, Lord and Saviour made Jesus Christ's first coming "irrelevant". Read it all you likeminded people. Read it twice. God needs the approval/acceptance of the Jews to make Him relevant. Disgustingly remarkable ... and remarkably disgusting. Repent Red ... while you still can.
Unclefester, where are you?

Is that the anti-rapture????

No...that is kind of stupid. Reminds me of "the blind leading the blind and they both fall into the ditch".

Matthew 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

Luke 6:39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
