first God made man in His physical image Genesis 1:26-28

[SUP]26 [/SUP]And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth God made man to have dominion over all His creation. God gave man responsibility

I do not understand what you are trying to 'prove'...are the scripture quotes you write meant to support your belief that man is to 'become God'? if so, sorry, but I do not read that. We are human and remain human until we die...we do not become divine by believing in Christ. God Bless. <><

God created man for His pleasure and for man to glorify Him, so we should do all things to the glory of His holy name .
1 Cor 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
Rev 4:11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

[SUP]GENESIS 2v[/SUP]And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.[SUP]8 [/SUP]And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
[SUP]17 [/SUP]But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

God said [h=3]Psalm 82:1-2[/h]1 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

[SUP]2 [/SUP]How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

here is what Jesus said [h=3]John 10:24-25[/h]

[SUP]24 [/SUP]Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
[SUP]30 [/SUP]I and my Father are one.
[SUP]31 [/SUP]Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
[SUP]32 [/SUP]Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
[SUP]33 [/SUP]The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
[SUP]34 [/SUP]Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
[SUP]35 [/SUP]If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
[SUP]36 [/SUP]Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

[h=3]Psalm 8:1-6[/h]1 O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

[SUP]2 [/SUP]Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
[SUP]4 [/SUP]What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
[SUP]5 [/SUP]For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

let me make it a little easier what did Enoch become? Genesis 5:23-25

[SUP]23 [/SUP]And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
[SUP]24 [/SUP]And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. Hebrews 11:5
By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
