[h=3]John 6:52-58[/h]New International Version - UK (NIVUK)

[SUP]52 [/SUP]Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, ‘How can this man give us his flesh to eat?’
[SUP]53 [/SUP]Jesus said to them, ‘Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. [SUP]54 [/SUP]Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. [SUP]55 [/SUP]For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. [SUP]56 [/SUP]Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. [SUP]57 [/SUP]Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. [SUP]58 [/SUP]This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live for ever.’

These are my thoughts please share yours.
52 The Law of Moses forbids eating flesh. Jesus was not speakly literally though.
53 This is commmunion. Only true believers can truly have communion. Communion is accepting Christ's sacrifice for us.
54 This here is a promise to those who believe and recieve grace from God. Recieving pentence fr our sins is far more important than having bread and wine which is to remind us of what He did for us. His flesh and blood were given on the cross.
55-56 When we receive the cross in our life we gain an everlasting realationship with God and gain the Holy Spirit.
57 Jesus is life and we can only gain life thru His death on the cross. He died on the cross so we do not have to do the same.
58 He reminds them that God has sent bread from heaven before but it did not last but He makes those who recieve Him last and they will have to face hell but pass from death to life.
59 He taught this near His home a city He went to many times the city most of His disciples were from.

The bread of life and the drink of blood. The bread is his broken body and the blood is the new covenant whicch is what we are in today a new Covenant of LOVE God's type best described 1 cor 13
Bu this bread and drink is of the tree of life that was guarded for allthose years prior to Christ and is now open for the believer to take from and eat and have life-everlasting. God guarded this tree from anyone getting in there to eat from because man had sinned and was of a wrong nature and God neede to redeem the wholle world and condem sin to the flesh before he could say to us go ahead and now eat and have eternal life being made back to perfecftion as Adam and Eve wereprior toeatingfrom the tree of evil. I callit the tree of evil, not good and evil, because this tree called having the knowledge of good and evil is nothing more that evil masquerading as good
Romans 8:3For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh

So by and through the cross after the death we could say thank you and be born again of the Spirit of God and eat off of the tree of life as was originally planned, but it happened differantly, but today we are reconciled, redeemed, restored, given new life by Christ
Colossians 2:13And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Romans 3:20Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
By the Spirit we have life
