If we have not wisdom and discernment of the knowledge we receive, then we are an empty shell. For if we have all knowledge, yet don't have wisdom and understanding of how to apply it, or teach it to others. Then we have nothing. If I can quote the Scriptures and yet have no love, no wisdom to help others understand, than the rocks are wiser than I. We as the body, tend to desire to be like peacocks at times, fluffing our knowledge, showing the vast knowledge of the Scriptures, taking it back to hebrew, greek, etc. But wisdom, understanding, love lack so much. Mishpochah, it's not about how much we know, it's about applying it, and with love and compassion, not arrogance, we help others to reach that same understanding. Let us walk in the fullness of wisdom, love, and understanding, especially those who claim to be teachers of the Word.

Amen and Shalom

Can never have one without the other... It just won't work

1 Corinthians 8:1 "Now concerning things sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up." (World English Bible)

Many seem to think knowledge means knowing where scriptures are to support their preferred view, though they do not even understand that is what they are doing.

That comes of what Paul said. They get too puffed up with self elation at having thought they see something that others need to see.

From there forward, not only do they not see what the scriptures when taken together are telling them, but neither do they see themselves or other people as they are.

An excellent verse for this thread. Thank you

Knowledge is at the conception is good but with out the flow of the Holy Spirit the real experience is like a flower that has not been pollenated and if not then no real spiritual fruit. The Holy Spirit is necessary to His application and His impartation of His planting of the real seed of Knowledge which in these days is revealing the lack and the desperation and need if we do not have this pure direct knowledge from the Holy Spirit if it not be from Him what fruit then can come from man's cognate process it is fruitless(I speak of even those in Christ but not of knowledge evident of the Holy Spirit), I would rather not speak a word or write a "word" but do as the Holy Spirit tells me and see the fruit of Agape(divine omnipotent love) Joy(Jesus in Others through You) peace (the defeat of our spiritual enemy) patience(how we possess our souls kenosis) kindness (there I am as they) meekness(no anger to retaliate) temperance (Holy Spirit help my flesh die at my cross) goodness(imparting Jesus' life into others) Faith (believing in substances of the life, light and love of the Lord Jesus ) in me desiring to give to all others. Along with desiring mercy and compassion upon all I meet and see.
O Lord pour all of these upon us with the glory of the precious Holy Spirit upon us your people your body your sons and daughters.
