You know, I would have taken the time to listen to this if I could stand the "King James Only" speech. That speech in itself instantly alerts me to fanaticism. Hence, my expectations for a wise teacher drop down about a dozen notches. I've never read a translation yet that contradicted the rest. But anyway, if you can get past your obsession, I'd be curious to know what else the man had to say. As it is, I haven't got the patience.

He posted a sermon a while back where the 'pastor' said soft drinks and pinafores were from the Devil... (i.e. a certifiable crazy person).

Piper27, yes I did. In fact, I share a lot of Bryan Denlinger's sermons and videos. Both on here and on other websites and forums. Bryan Denlinger is a phenomenal King James Bible believing preacher who stands for God's word.
He stands against the new versions, he exposes the Contemporary "Christian" Music (CCM) Movement and shows how it is not of the Lord.
There is NO SUCH thing as "Christian Rock" Nor is there any such thing as "Christian Hip Hop." You can't sanctify something that is profane and of the world.
And he also exposes the false religions like Roman Catholicism, and other heretical false religions.
So videos and sermons that I share on this forum or other forums will be from King James Bible believing preachers. Men of God that Honour God's word and that Exalt His word.
And I know that it was not easy for Brother Bryan Denlinger to do the in dept study on the Emergent Church movement that he did. He said that it was very vexing for him to study and see what the people of this emergent church actually believe. He even warns at the very beginning of the video that what these emergent types believe is very heretical and blasphemous.
And I can attest to that, because I along with Brother Bryan Denlinger, saw each of the posters which these satanists put out on the internet. And the posters are very vexing to look at.
So Piper27, if you see any church out there that claims to be emergent, I suggest and recommend that you don't even step foot in there. The people who are behind the Emergent Church Movement are ministers of Satan. They are True Satanists. And their main attack is on the perfect written word of God. The King James Bible.
And any group of people that make it their calling to go on youtube or any other website and attack the King James Bible, which is the perfect, pure, infallible and inerrant word of God. Then those people are working for Satan. Because Satan has always hated the word of God.
Satan does not hate the NIV or the ESV or the NASB or any other modern version, but what Satan does hate is the King James Bible. Because the King James Bible is God's perfect word.
And Piper27, if you do not want to be deceived in these last days by the numerous and heretical false teachings which are out there, I suggest you stay grounded and rooted firmly in God's perfect word, the King James Bible. I also highly recommend you check out some of the other videos and sermons which Brother Bryan Denlinger has done. You can find a lot of his sermons and Bible Studies on sermonaudio.com, and you can find all his videos on youtube.

I Love you, too, chosenHim, I just HATE how you attack others' , their life is THERE life, NOT yours, the Lord will lead them to listen to what they want and He wiil KEEP them. There is GOOD in what you say too, but it is DROWNED out by your increasing words that judgement people , when Christ is OUR judge. Did you get that? He ALONE, you only propel Satan's attacks when you judge others of their music, their church, their ministry. LET GO AND LET God handle it. YOU are so entwined and dug in to how YOU see things should be, you REALLY need to pray for how God wants you to see them and to direct your highly radical posts . You need to become entwined in His leading you to help others find Him, NOT give them reasons to run away from Him. I pray this is (sweet) music to your ears

So why is the KJV the pure word? Is it because it says "Authorized?" If that is the case, it was originally completed in 1611 and the first recorded mention of it being "Authorized" was over one hundred and fifty years later in 1783. And it certainly was not one of the Godhead who showed up and slapped that stamp of approval on it.

Also, to accept the "Aurthority" of the KJV as the only potential must mean that you are are part of the Church of England since it is under that denomination that it received authority. If you are not part of that church then you must be a Satanist according to your logic.

If you read John 8:34-45, you will find that Jesus is talking to the Pharisees. The Pharisees were great for making rules that no one could keep and being inclusive, rather than loving others as themselves.
You have lost the essence of what it means to be Christian.
"And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, andyour neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27 ESV.
Try and remember God speaks to people in different ways, and he does not care about culture, or 400 year old versions of the Bible which no one understands today and have translation errors.
God loves all people and our job is not to judge and condemn because of some cultural issues, but rather to present the gospel of Jesus Christ - crucified and risen from the dead!

Please, chosenHim, take these words of angela to prayer, no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus and just because someone listens to music that is not Christian that does not mean THEY are not Christian. The Lord leads, we are to follow Him, His relationship with ALL His sheep is a personal journey.

No, no, no, we do not call our brothers and sisters in Christ, 'Satanists,' moetownHis. That's not Love. But, I understand what you are saying about the KJV, there are other versions of Scripture too and SOME the Lord leads to those versions, because that's how He wants them to understand Him
Of course you know I was not calling anyone a Satanist, only pointing out the exclusive nature of his statment and how it may very well exclude himself.

As for the music thing, many of the traditional hymns' music was based on secular songs sung in bars and the like but rewritten with Christian lyrics. Martin Luther, the forefather to the Church of England, was well known for using "tavern tunes" in the writing of his hymns. So ChosebyHim may have also excluded Martin Luther himself from salvation along with all those who have sung his hymns, or any hymns written by Charles Wesley and his brother, or any hymns written by... you get the point.
