A quick tool i just made for the study of law.
Study of Law
The word law is used 459 times in the bible(kjv). 287 times in the old testament and 172 times in the NT.
The word law is defined by the dictionary as

(Noun)

1. The system of rules that a particular country or community recognizes as regulating the actions of its members and may enforce by the...
2. An individual rule as part of such a system.

Looking in the concordance there are approximately about 10 differing words for law.
There are:
X y z
Now looking at the more complicated use Jesus saying I have fulfilled the law what word was use in the greek and exactly what was this word referring to.
Was it referring to the mosaic law?
If so what was the mosaic law (better referred to as the torah)?
is the mosaic law still binding on us?

Conclusion

feel free to add to the outline for study. n share ur view.
the objective is to create an easy n accurate study guide tool for the understanding of law.

As I understand it there are three types of Law in the Old Testament, Ceremonial Law, Civil Law, and Moral Law. If I understand right only the moral law is still applicable. But I will not say much more yet on this subject since I have only begun to study this issue. I will say that Jesus took away the Sacrifice and Offerings fulfilling them in himself (Hebrews 10:8-10).
