Last night my laptop turned on while I was in bed and woke me up playing this terribly loud music in a language I couldn't understand. I got up and tried to turn it off but it wouldn't. It was so loud and I needed to get up early the next morning so I practically broke down in to tears thinking I'd do anything to make it stop, and right as I thought that the laptop shut itself off. I feel I may have failed some cybernatural trial set up by God or worse! Please, I could use any sort of support right now.
Are you sure the music was not from a webpage (some websites play music)? Were your media players turned on? Does it have a virus? Anyway, your best bet is to copy your files to an external hard drive or USB and take your laptop to a repair center.

Best of luck.

Yeah, but how do you know there isn't already a virus 'abiding' in your cheesecake?

While God does allow trials in our lives, and promises to be with us, I don't see anywhere in the Bible where a demon can inhabit an inanimate object. I would get a back up drive and see if it saves the document. If it doesn't, you probably have a programming virus and need to reload the program.

Seriously, I have done it before and it works!

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]For I am the Lord your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior." Isa. 43:1b-3

its an apple computer. I don't know if that's relevant though. Ive done everything I can to try to fix the problem through technology, but I truly feel the problem is beyond this earth and it lies in my inability to connect with God right now. I've spoken to many friends about this and they have experienced similar cybernatural problems. I'm really just wondering if anyone has had similar issues or if they know how I may be able to reconnect with God, that's all.

The only connection with God is through the sacrificial shed Blood (for your sins) of Jesus.

Satan can use anything out there to try to short circuit us in our faith. He can do many things and make it appear as though God were in it, but Satan is and has always been the father of lies.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I really don't want to belittle the problem, it's not a quick fix. I took my laptop to the genius bar at the apple store, they are usually very helpful but they couldn't figure out this problem. I personally do feel that the devil is probably able to change with the times and access us through technology where we can often be the most vulnerable, but I don't know. It makes sense to me that the devil may work through the cybernatural, but i'd be curious to hear your thoughts.
I believe that the devil can work through any medium he chooses, however with issues like this one it's helpful to focus primarily on naturalistic explanations until they have completely been ruled out.

Not really, not anything. He has a limited authority where God permits. And in that through people.
And even with people...hes limited to whom he has power to influence. But your right about his
trying to appear to be God.

There is only one way to connect with God.

"because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. [SUP]10 [/SUP]For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved." Romans 19:9-10

I would not recommend baptizing the laptop, that may only make the problems worse.
