I believe the souls of a being becomes one it just like if someone that you has loved had past away but the memories of them stays.

None to be seen in heaven. I'm hoping to see some on the new earth when the lions eat straw like the oxen.

There is no biblical evidence that our pets will be in heaven.

I don't think there is anything in the bible to suggest that our pets will go to heaven, in order to go to heavenly places you have to have a soul right? So does animals have a soul? as animals of all kinds are created for our comfort right? im sure we will remember them if they cant enter heaven.......

My dog died and went to heaven for seven days and then came back to bark about it.

I know it happened because he had a golden dog tag with the following words engraved:

"Heaven - Been There, Done That"

On a more serious note, I agree with Santuzza and Richie that the Bible doesn't say whether or not our pets will be with us in the after life. But I sure hope they will, because one of them owes me $50 (what a waste of money that chew-toy was).

Ecc 3:19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
Ecc 3:20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
Ecc 3:21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

These passages teach that the spirit of the animals go downward into the earth, and that the spirit of man goes upward. Animals therefore don't go to heaven. However I have heard it suggested that since death shall one day be destroyed that perhaps the animals themselves shall rise up in the resurrection at the last day. So then as Christians maybe we can see our dead pets again one day who knows.

I understand what you are asking, I have loved many animals, in fact at certain parts of my life they are all I had as a friend...

But in my opinion it won't matter. For we will be with our Father... In his presence.. The last thing that'll be on my mind is where's fido...

Well David spoke of a band of evil dogs surrounding him (think he was talking about people) proverbs spoke about dogs returning to there on vomit (still think they were talking about people) Jesus talked about dogs turning and tearing you to piece (think he was talking about people also) alot of time dogs were talked about. So some people are going to heaven why not some dogs? But in Korea there dinner. But so were people at Donner Pass. Who knows? I would be more concern if you get there and at that point if you make there would be no more weeping so does not seem to really matter at that point . But to add one thing Jesus let demons go into pigs that came out of a person so don't see why the Gods Spirit could not enter dog if they could that would be between the creator and the dog don't you think? I mean did not a donkey speak? All thing are possible with god!

That's a very important differentiation to make.

However, I have seen pets in heaven. Any time the Father uses my dog or any thing else as a sign, it is "in heaven"

God say's that He will give us the desire of our hearts. If we love a pet dearly, I don't see any reason why God could not have that pet in heaven for us. God can do anything He wants to. I am not about to limit Him. Besides if you know the bible, we don't spend much time in heaven, till we return to earth with Jesus. Ruling and reigning with Him.
