I am quoting from a post I created earlier today. All these individuals are great authors. Rich Warren, Charles Swindoll, Brady Boyd (newlifechurch.org), Chip Ingram (livingontheedge.org), and James McDonald (walkintheword.com). Walk in the word and living on the edge are on the radio and I listen to them everyday on my way to work. The websites are also available for sermons and such. James McDonald and Brady Boyd are some of my favorite they're both funny and powerful speakers. Chip is more analytical but nonetheless has a great series on Emotions and Anger. They are all down to earth and very humble; speaking for myself I can say I can relate to nearly all of them. I would recommend those books though they're great reads! If you have any recommendations please let me know send me a message or post on here Thanks!!

God BLess
Do you get all your preaching from the radio?

john macarthur is tainted by 'lordship salvation' doctrine in my opinion...though he doesn't obsess about it as much as some other preachers...and i do admire him for taking a strong stand on biblical creation...

James 2/1: My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

2/2: For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man (eeeek), and able also to bridle the body.

Humans are vulgar lol

Luke 16/29-31: Christ Teaching; Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses & the prophets ; let them hear them.

And he said Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

You can listen to any man, and it won't help any, if the ultimate motive is to get 10% of your money. lol
don't you listen to Arnold Murray?

Hmmm.......so many women's groups in Godly Bible churches use books by women: Beth Moore, to name one. And yet, I have not read one women's name in this thread yet. Does that mean all of those who have posted so far would proclaim that these women's groups are not being Biblical?

I like:
Frances Chan
Lee Strobel
Charles and Andy Stanley
Bill Hybles
Stuart and Jill Briscoe
John Maxwell
John Ortberg

Whipee do if I do zone, but in reality its The Word that he TEACHES, not Preaches, lol and to have such a narrow mind to judge me as a person that follows any man without even knowing anything about me, well this is about as un-Christian as it gets lol

I listen to NO man, just Our Father's Word in the language HE chose to give it in and it IS Perfect.

By the way did you get your meds checked yet? lol

This whole thread is purely prejudice and judgmental, as well as extremely ignorant (if you even know what that means)lol

Arnold Murray has a different father and a different word from the Eternal Father and his Word.

sound doctrine then you need to read every passage or verses in context according to the exegesis.
Paul Washer is my latest favorite. and of course you can disagree with him or me.
just don't disagree with the bible :)

Peace and love of Christ

Erwin Lutzer, Jack Van Impe (mostly a prophetic teacher, but also scorns those who preach false Gospels) John MacArthur seems good from what I can tell. Robert Jeffres sounds good to

I like the following Bible teachers,

1. Kenneth Copeland, because he looks like a mean troll.

2. Benny Hinn, because false prophecies are just as interesting are true prophecies!!!

3. Joel Osteen, because his smile always makes me smile!!!
