Spirit, she doesn't hate you, she hates the false doctrine of universalism.
Again I am not a universalist. Never seen one. And ANYONE who loves not his brother, even his enemy, is a murderer. You have to hate them in order to not love them.

I don't beat around the bush, I call it how I see it presented to me. I ask is there any harm in loving and forgiving all?

I couldn't care less if they did. I'm not out for any kind of 'best loved' of the year award.
HAHAH Amen to that ..I always say that I graduated in 85 and refuse to play silly (school) games and could care less what anyone thinks about me. The only view that matters/should matter is the view that Jesus will have, as we will all bow before Him and confess to His glory.

Sure...repentance in a simple definition...it's basically a change of mind that leads to change of action.
Yes, repentance is recognising your sin, turning from it and running to God for him to deal with it.

Take this person. She hates me simply because I forgive those that she would condemn.

She could not explain the Gospel if her life depended on it. How is she then qualified to tell me to repent? Is it a good thing to save a life? To you it is not considering you would keep salvation from those who need it.
I’m not the one that saves, salvation is of the LORD. However, I'll teach the truth of His word because of love. I am not going to give Christ-rejecters false comfort that they can live in unbelief and still enter heaven. If anyone is showing hatred here, it is you. Is it loving to give Christ-rejecters false assurance of salvation with another gospel? The bible says few will find the narrow way to eternal life but you say all will find it. Is that love? You have absolutely no concern for unsaved souls that's why you preach the satanic doctrine of universalism (i.e. everyone will ultimately be saved). Repent.

I'm not saying that I'm hated by Christians. Most of them simply dont want me around. Not because I stand against the damage organized religion is doing either. They don't even know me, but they run. Mainly the hierarchy gets real nervous if I just walk in there door. They feel convicted and they get jealous. They want me outta there and I haven't even opened my mouth yet. I became aware of this as soon as I got saved. Bad breath you say. No. I gargle before I go.

When you die, what you said won't mean a thing. The wages of sin is death, and you will collect. The bible does say that FEW find life. Abraham found it, as well as a few others. But Christ said that He came to give His life for the MANY! Do you go to a doctor if you aren't sick? One who is well needs no physician.

They told Jesus that in His day as well. If I do not have the power to forgive, then I am not a child of God.
That is quite different from saying that because you forgave someone that they will be in heaven. You have the obligation to forgive others as they trespass against you but you cannot grant Gods forgiveness against His righteousness. Sin against God can only be forgiven through the atoning blood of Christ.

IDK if I should say anything on this thread, oldie, much banning, but here goes anyways. It's true Christ did say that, and not that anything is wronge with Jesus The Son of God. Since we are followers of him, of a spiritual new birth, then his HOly Spirit resides with us, and how could any thing be wrong with the Holy Spirit. I don't think that Jesus was telling us that other believers would hate believers, as we are of one body, in Jesus CHrist. Through out years, I found this. There's much ills in people's minds, and they live that way, unless they get healed. The curse has not changed from the fall since Adam and Eve.
Jesus did not come for a masquerade party on earth, but he said, " I've come to set the captive free, and heal, to bind up the broken hearted. I sure didn't come from a perfecto family, and everyone's got a story. But heres the answer. Without salvation, and the HOly Spirit, we all know the vacancies and what fills up, if not Jesus. The way truth and the light.
THe adversary the hater of the soul, and called the destroyer, who comes to rob, steal and destroy men's lives. Jesus said, "I've come to give life more abundantly." I believe he's referring to those problematic people, those who have not turned their selves over and into the arms, of Jesus, who welcomes us all, and not just a one prayer, but a commitment to a life time of Repentance, in obedience to him, spiritually born of his spirit, and growing in Truth, of him. Without him, Jesus himself said, things how the heart is, and how the carnal mind, is that doesn't seek after the Lord is. So there's an extreme that I found out personally, there's no balance, it's either extreme jealousy, hatred, menacing;, and every thing that is contrary to the Word of God. Then on the other side, there is extreme obsessiveness and all the ill things that go with that.
There's no balance. I've found very few loving friends, many on here;, and some in the churches, some a handful. The nature of man, without Christ, is to see what they can get, Jesus came to give, and love, their's the big difference, of the rebirth of the Spirit. It's an extreme on both sides. Hate, Jealousy these two things opposite of Love. "The bible talks about
Jealousy is cruel as the grave. "Corinthians 13 "LOVE IS NOT JEALOUS.' noT HUMAN FOLIO LOVE, BUT Being surrounded by and in God's love, REal love, God's way;, God's agape love, is not Never jealous. John 3:16, God so loved the WORLD, people are in need of Jesus. Much is said about people's conduct concerning their attitudes and demeanor, and dispositions, about life. " It says, they hate the light, and men love the darkness more than the light, for they don't want their deeds to be known. :Much is said about it.

This really is a good bible topic. A lot of scriptures about this. Here's one. John 3:20 { All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed NLT.} So the Lord Jesus is not saying believers are the haters, of believers. Although we could do that and that is where repentance comes in , as we "all fall short of his glory, and all our righteousnesses is as a filthy rag." Isaiah 64:6. There is not one good," bv. So, I wouldn't worry about haters, as they are feeling the light of the LOrd within us, and those it says who contend with you, God will contend with them. Some just don't believe in God, or that he is Our Heavenly Father, being born again of his Spirit, Galations 4:6 " And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, "Abba, Father." I don't know about you, but God sticks up for his own children being born of his Spirit, says so right in this verse. WE cry or call Abba in Hebrew, FAther God. Psalm 91:15 Call unto me in the day of trouble, and I will deliver thee and help thee, and honor thee and satisfy you with a long life. God also says," ;you are of your father the devil. John 8:44 You belong to your father the devil.

I said In a post one time, Jesus was a thug. I meant he was very tough. He's not violent.

Haters of those who do good. without love, unforgiving Slanderous, brutal { 2 Timothy 3:3}

John 15:19 If you were of the world, the world would love it's own, but because you are not of the world I chose you out of the world because of this you are hated. WE are in this world, but not of it.

One commentary says, that really is nothing. There is no unconditional love any way. Hate and coldness could come and go, like the weather in some. God's love is unconditional, you can guarantee
he is ther waiting for us, all the time, always, we just need to kneel in prayer, as the story of the prodigal son, who left, and ended up eating the pigs corn husks after spending his father's inheritance of harlots. His father welcomed him back, as he had remorse, and repented. The KJ Version has the word hate 87 times. the word hated 60.

It is not our loss. "Greater is he within us, than the spirit of lawlessness, and corruption that is in the world." John 4:4.

Just as a loving Kind Father, would be to his children, because they are born of him, from him, Fathered by him,, so it says God loves us even more than that . { Matthew 7:11} You know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more does your Heavenly Father love you.

It's a Spiritual Mystery, since we are spiritually created by a God who is called "God is a Spirit," he breathed life into the nostrils of man, and man became a living soul, Genesis.

The spirit of man, goes back to God.

It's not evolution, our family members are not in the local Zoo. :)

Jesus said about Christians "Everyone will hate you because of me" (Matthew 10:22)

No other group in history has had even close to as great a positive humanitarian effect as Christians. We go to other countries and risk our lives to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and heal the sick. Even as short-term missionaries we endure heat and lack of proper amenities and go without sufficient food for the sake of others, all in the name of Jesus. All of the large humanitarian organizations (Red Cross, the Peace Core, etc) were founded and grown by Christians and are still most frequented by Christians. The Buddhists and the Muslims and the atheists aren't the ones going out there. They are the ones complaining that things aren't right, but they aren't going out there. Yet the world still hates US. They call US hypocrites, and they refer to US as cultists, brainwashers, ignorant, and stupid.

In the U.S. if you practice your religion, you're devout. Unless you're a Christian; then you're a racist and a sheep and naive. If you tell people about your religion, you're cultured. Unless you're a Christian; then you're impeding other people's constitutional rights. If you practice your radical lifestyle, you're a true American and people fight for you. Unless you live a Godly lifestyle; then you need to start separating church and state.

Christians aren't against gay marriage because they don't want people to be happy; they are against it because they love people, and don't want to see this country go the way of Sodom and Gomorrah. The more we let sin creep into our accepted culture, the closer we come to destruction. We know that it's in everyone's best interest to protect traditional marriage, to pray in schools, etc.

I got into a conversation with an atheist about this today. He said that Christians are the downfall of society. I asked him how he could say that, when Christians are out there saving lives. He said that if atheists had the funds and stuff, they probably would too. Yeah, real great out. "If". He countered what is real with something hypothetical.

The enemy is crafty and deceiving. This guy thought that his hypothetical argument was actually valid. The enemy will get people to hate Christians for illogical reasons, while being tolerant and accepting of drug abusers and racists and rapists and mass murderers. He got them to believe that killing babies is okay.

If the world hates you; you may be on the right track. Logically, without bias, an outsider would look at the Christian faith and think that they should be regarded as the heroes of this world. But Jesus said that they would hate us, and He is never wrong. The world doesn't realize that by hating us, they are just confirming what Jesus predicted. They are confirming Jesus' divinity.
Gods true Word is what the world Hates because it calls for repentance. the prophets were hated and persecuted, the Jews are and have been the most persecuted people on earth, and Christians pretty much the same as Jews through History since the church was founded. its because they all had the Word of God. the world is opposed to Gods word. Even some proffesing Christians hate Gods Word and cringe at the truth of it. and therefore reject and dislike those who carry it in them. Gods Word came into the World to save us, and we crucified it.....
