Today's passage comes from Luke 10:17-24

17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”
18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”
21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. 22 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
23 Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see; 24 for I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard it.

This passage is awesome, so many great things. As Christians, we are each personally blessed to know our Jesus as Lord, since no one could have known it but by the gift of the Father. Passages like this really give me comfort, to know that my faith was given to me personally from above. And again, like in yesterday's passage, Jesus speaks of the importance of innosence, that he revealed himself to babes. Just as the disciples are blessed to see the Lord Jesus with their eyes, we are also blessed to see him with our hearts.

May we all be so blessed as the disciples to see the savior with our eyes as well in his Kingdom. Amen

I like how Jesus tells us not to focus on the demonic, even the power He's given us over it, but focus on having our home with Him in heaven. The devil would have us so focussed on him sometimes so as not to look to Christ and be transformed by the light of love in His Face! Thanks for great passage. Keep it coming, JesusmyLord. (It seemed funny to write that, like I was saying it to you and to Him!:))

What this scrpture says is that with all faith in Jesus we need not worry about what we should see. By keeping our eyes on him, we will see all that we need to and desire to. It sounds simple because it is, in Jesus, Our Father, and by his Spirit all is held for us and given to us with his full protection and knowladge.
Rejoice! It is his gift. God bless, pickles
