This Dr. Steve Foss?

Senior Staff

"Pastor Steve has shared platforms with people like Benny Hinn, Judy Jacobs, and Morris Cerullo, preaching to millions around the world with signs and wonders following. It is with this experience and the burning desire to see revival in Dallas/Fort Worth that Pastor Steve and Carrie Foss planted the Upper Room on Easter of 2009. Since then they have watched God work miracle after miracle as the church continues to grow rapidly in numbers and in manifestations."

Matt 16:4 An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” So he left them and departed. (ESV)

Seeking a sign is different than a man of God being used by God to give a sign. Jesus did not say God wouldn't give signs. He said wicked people seek signs. He still gave the sign of His resurection.

That's almost correct.

John 20:28 Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (ESV)

Suiting your own passions means, for example, posting your opinion in this thread without any scriptural backing to speak of.

2 Tim 4:3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, (ESV)

But Please No arguing or making other people mad its not edifying nor is it bringing people to a revelation of Jesus Christ
Hey there!

Mark 11:15 And they came to Jerusalem. And he entered the temple and began to drive out those who sold and those who bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons.

Hi Annointedshephard,

I would agree with that, I haven't a clue who steve foss is, but Paul states it very well Galatians 5: 1 - 15

5:1 - It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

5:13 -25, You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh[SUP][a][/SUP]; rather, serve one another humbly in love. [SUP]14 [/SUP]For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[SUP][b][/SUP] [SUP]15 [/SUP]If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.[SUP]16 [/SUP]So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. [SUP]17 [/SUP]For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever[SUP][c][/SUP] you want. [SUP]18 [/SUP]But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; [SUP]20 [/SUP]idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions [SUP]21 [/SUP]and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [SUP]23 [/SUP]gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. [SUP]24 [/SUP]Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. [SUP]25 [/SUP]Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. [SUP]26 [/SUP]Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

Actually it's Prophet Steve Foss.

http://shop.stevefoss.com/

"God has shown His prophet, Steve Foss, a prophetic roadmap of the events that will take place in the Church in these last days."

Steve Foss is practices heresy throughout this rather disturbing video. This is not Christianity, it's voodoo.

1 Cor 14:27 If any speak in a tongue, let there be only two or at most three, and each in turn, and let someone interpret. 28 But if there is no one to interpret, let each of them keep silent in church and speak to himself and to God.

YouTube doesn't allow video embedding, so enjoy: Steve Foss - YouTube

I just watched the video and I will say , this is not of God, This is more like demon possession, where Jesus cast out the demons. This is what I would expect of witchcraft. These are false wonders and signs of the Devil. Love to all Hoffco

The only people who were slain in the Spirit were the evil people who were opposing the Apostles, not Christians. This tongues movement is so chazy, it is wild emotionalism ,not of the Holy Spirit, but of demons. Hoffco

We are not to"seek" signs . We are to be surprised when God quietly sends a miracle or a healing. One of the keys to see if God is in a movement is to look for the involvement of women. The Bible Forbids women to speak in tongues.. or to preach to men. Love to all, Hoffco

The fact is that works count for null.
If you believe in Christ you are under the New Covenant and the reconciliation is accepted on your behalf. You are at peace with God, and were at peace with God when you were his enemies.

Romans 5:10
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

If you sin, you're only hindering yourself and those around you.

1 Corinthians 10:23
"I have the right to do anything," you say--but not everything is beneficial. "I have the right to do anything"--but not everything is constructive

But if you're going around being slave to sin, there's a reason for it: The strength of sin is the law

1 Corinthians 15:56
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

If you're not under law, you cannot sin. Because where there is no law there is no transgression.

Romans 4:15
because law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.

Thanks be to Jesus Christ, who separates us from the law and puts us under grace.

Romans 6:14
For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

Therefore the strength of sin is making it apparent, when according to Christ because you believe in Him you are made righteous.

2 Corinthians 5:21
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

So we are then made righteous by the work of Jesus Christ who bore our sins. By taking away our sins, He took away the Law. Where there is no Law, there is no transgression. Therefore in Christ, we cannot sin.

1 John 3:9
No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.
So in effect grace is a get out of hell free-ticket, but in receiving grace your flesh is made dead and you are made alive. This enables you to walk in the Spirit which begins to outwardly manifest itself as right living. This is not your doing. It is the crucifixion of the sinful nature with Christ.

Hebrews 8:10
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts

In the end if you want to take your salvation and purpose that God has for you, and make your life hell on earth until you get to heaven - well that's a bloody awful idea, and a complete waste of the intentions God has for you to live in accordance with His perfect, pleasing will. "Oh, I'm not under law anymore, I can't sin against God so I'll go and destroy my body." What good is that? In my opinion anyone that actually has this attitude probably hasn't been saved - but that's not for me to decide. I just know what the scripture says.

I can sum up this whole post in a picture:

1004512_587405337969978_919378343_n.jpg

The end.

Once you truly has called on the Lord, you'll become clean and there's no turning back. When Christ started the process, He will see that the job will be finish.

John 10:28I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.

Matthew 20:23
Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father.”

Matthew 26:39
Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

Rev 14 9 A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its imageand receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, 10 they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” 12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.13 Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.”

2 Timothy 2:3

Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 12:7
Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?

Romans 5 3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

This is the product of Apostle Steve Foss's teaching. It should be clear now that if you follow him it will be into the lake of fire.

Rev 21:8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Apostle of who? Not from the Lord because Jesus said: "I never knew you, you evildoers!" In fact, whoever seeks their personal glory, speaks on their own !

Rev 21:8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
Romans 10:6-9
But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) “or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Not up to you to declare who does and doesn't go to heaven. The Bible paints a picture that says if you believe Jesus is raised from the dead to free you from your sin you will be saved. Anything beyond that is not your place to decide, because the message concerning faith has been made clear. It's our job to LOVE one another, not gossip about who is and isn't destined to burn in the lake of fire.
