Im sure that the big fella up stairs is smiling and getting ready to suprise us and to prepare his kids- that means us.
I recently had a moment where i started to think "can we loose our salvation"(after reading a fairly challenging peice of writing) and this kind freaked me out and i really wanted to hear what god had to say and found my lips wernt the only ones to utter something like this.
Yes we are saved by the blood of jesus and isnt that awsome news but what we have is a partnership with a living god, the maker of heaven and earth and when there is a partnership that means team work, being active and moving forward.Im not talking about works-They do not save us.
Some of you may have just come out of a yucky valley and some may still be in it to you i say look to the heavens not down at your feet-God knows exactly where you are and he has a plan-not to destroy but to build you so there is hope.
Imagine a train station- big, lots of shops, people and distractions and thats where every1 loves to hang out even get lost in by hanging around to long. The ticket master is all over the place letting people know about the trains leaving the station and is offering tickets to a destination that is heaps heaps better but alot of people reject not only the ticket master but the ticket as well. Some who have a ticket waste it and continue to stand around with the others looking for mayb something better and are nudged by the master and others with tickets to get on a train b4 they miss the last one-no one knows when the station is closing which makes people more comfy.
GOD has an awsome plan for you all- all set out full of blessings and suprises and wants you to be part of HIStory and he is such a loving god that like a father he wont force you one way but stand back and allow you to make your own choices.
I dont believe you can loose your salvation but in deciding to do your own thing and waste the ticket given to you not only will you miss trains haha or your role here on earth as gods child and representative but what about others whom your supposed to impact on that journey, towns, workplaces and countries as well where god may have a plan 4 you to be all wasted because we got to distracted.
I am soooo guilty of this and realised tonite if i dont get serious now, jump on board with god i will be loosing somthing very big and that scares me even more-mayb thats what all those parables are talking about- you know the ones about wedding feasts and being thrown out.
Most of you are strangers to me and most of ya on the other side of the world but at the same time all brothers and sisters in christ and i am the annoying brother(just wanting to encourage) as we get way to comfy in the worlds we live it can get dangerous.
The task ahead of you is never as great as the Power within you- we can do all things through christ who strengthens us
